The Nervousness

Its almost 11 at night..

A boy is pacing up and down in his room.. unable to sleep.. tension clear on his face.. nervousness mixed with a lot of excitement..

The situation with his girlfriend on the other side wasn't much different.. she too was tossing and turning in the bed..

Finally after a lot of courage she decided to call him..

As soon as his phone started ringing he picked it up.. as if he was waiting for her to call.. or he would have called by himself only in a few seconds..

"Hello", he answered..

She didn't responded..

He knew she was in the same situation.. and an awkward silence prevailed over the phone.. they didn't need to talk aloud to understand each other..

After a few minutes of more silence she spoke up..

Girl: Darr laga raha hai..

Boy: Mujhe bhi..

Girl: Par kyun aisa lag raha hai.. we should be happy na.. excited and all.. but..

Boy: No no I am excited.. aren't you?? I know you too are excited... shayad mujhse bhi zyada.. par uske saath saath yeh tension..

Girl: I know right.. uff!! It's not letting me sleep.. tumhari bahut yaad aa rahi hai..

Boy: Same here.. I miss you too.. soo much..

Girl: Can we not meet now??

Boy: No please.. it's not allowed na.. please.. humein nahi milna chahiye.. I guess this nervousness is also in a positive way..

Girl: Hmm.. we should be positive..

Boy: Yeah!!

Girl: So jaao.. good night.. kal milte hai.. mere pet mein to butterflies udd rahe hai kabse..

Boy: It's the same here.. anyways.. humein so jaana chahiye.. nahi to kal ke din we will be tired.. waise bhi tired hona hai.. agar abhi soye nahi to aur zyada tired ho jaayenge.. so goodnight girlfriend jii..

Girl: Good night boyfriend jii..

They hunged the phone.. and slept thinking about each other.. and awaiting for the day tomorrow..
