Pheras : Vows made by the bride and groom while taking rounds around the sacred fire..

Sindurdaan : The groom puts the vermilion on bride's hairline which is considered as the completion of marriage..

Shivi's : Italicized
Momo's : Bold and Italicized

Pandit ji : Ladke ki bahan aake jode ka gatbandhan kare..

Zeba came and put the cloth that was for phera on Momo's shoulder and tied it with Shivi's dupatta wishing them happiness forever..

Pandit ji : Abb var aur vadhu phere ke liye khare ho jaayenge.. pahle 4 phere mein vadhu var ke aage rahengi aur agle 3 phere mein var vadhu ke aage.. agni ke saamne liye hue yeh 7 vaade aap dono ko humesha saath rakhenge..

They started taking the pheras chanting the oaths as instructed by pandit ji..

"om esha ekapadi bhava iti prathaman" meaning 'You will offer me food and be helpful in every way. I will cherish you and provide welfare and happiness for you and our children'.
"dhanam dhanyam pade vadet" meaning ' I am responsible for the home and all household, food and finance responsibilities'.

"om oorje jara dastayaha", meaning 'Together we will protect our house and children'.
"kutumburn rakshayishyammi sa aravindharam", which translates as 'I will be by your side as your courage and strength. I will rejoice in your happiness. In return, you will love me solely'.

"om rayas santu joradastayaha" by which he means 'May we grow wealthy and prosperous and strive for the education of our children and may our children live long.'
"tava bhakti as vadedvachacha", meaning 'I will love you solely for the rest of my life, as you are my husband. Every other man in my life will be secondary. I vow to remain chaste'.

"om mayo bhavyas jaradastaya ha" by which he means 'You have brought sacredness into my life, and have completed me. May we be blessed with noble and obedient children'
"lalayami cha pade vadet", by which she means, 'I will shower you with joy, from head to toe. I will strive to please you in every way I can'.

"om prajabhyaha santu jaradastayaha", which means 'You are my best friend, and staunchest well-wisher. You have come into my life, enriching it. God bless you'.
"arte arba sapade vadet" or 'I promise to love and cherish you for as long as I live. Your happiness is my happiness, and your sorrow is my sorrow. I will trust and honor you, and will strive to fulfill all your wishes'.

"Rutubhyah shat padi bhava" which means 'Now that you have taken six steps with me, you have filled my heart with immense happiness. Will you do the kindness of filling my heart with happiness like this for all times?'
"yajna hom shashthe vacho vadet" meaning 'I will always be by your side'.

"Om sakhi jaradastayahga", by which he proclaims 'We are now husband and wife, and are one. You are mine and I am yours for eternity.'
"Attramshe sakshino vadet pade", which means 'As God is witness, I am now your wife. We will love, honor and cherish each other forever.'

They completed the pheras..

After the pheras the pandit ji told them to sit down.. and he put Momo's hand under Shivi's and chanted few mantras..

Pandit ji : Abb sindur ki dibbi laiye..

Sheetal brought the Vermillion box and forwarded it to Momo..

Momo looked at Shivi and Shivi was already having tears in her eyes..

He moved forward.. he lifted the maangtika with his left hand and put the pinch of Vermillion on her hairline..

The tear drop which Shivi was holding back came down.. Momo quickly rubbed it off lightly nodding his head telling her not to cry..

Then pandit ji handed him the mangalsutra..

Momo brought his face near Shivi's and tried putting the mangalsutra around her neck but was finding it hard because of her dupatta and jewelries.. she was blushing due to the closeness.. and finally Sheetal came and helped Momo in putting the mangalsutra by lifting the jewelleries.. they all laughed over the situation..

Pandit ji : Shaadi sampann hui..aaj se aap dono pati patni ke pavitra sambandh mein bandh gaye..

Shivin looked at each other admiringly..
