Chan didn't even bother looking at Joshua when he entered the house. The boy just locked himself in his bedroom and didn't leave until he heard the doorbell ring the next day.

Joshua had his hands on the doorknob, ready to turn it and open the door, when Chan spoke behind him.

"It's for me you can go." He said in a cold, monotone voice.

The same tone of voice he had used to threaten Seungcheol with, except a little less angry.

Joshua stepped away from the door and Chan opened it, revealing the boy he had been waiting for.

He was quick to throw his arms around his best-friend's neck and embrace him tightly.

"Hansol!" Chan squealed, sounding like a teenager again, for the first time in a long while.

The older friend hugged back and both of them smiled widely at the hug, the little gesture of affection meant so much more than it looked... The bys truly missed eachother.

Joshua watched as they shared the hug and then pulled away. The two left without saying a word to Joshua, who was standing just by their side.

It hurt the man's pride watching Chan leave happily after yesterday's incident. Joshua wished Chan looked a little more hurt, Joshua wished the younger couldn't just shrug it off. He should have never gotten into drinking again... What was he thinking... He needed to get his life together. Chan was clearly working on it so it was time he started as well. He can't sullk about Jeonghan forever.

Joshua recomposed himself and took a deep breath.

"First step," Joshua started telling himself "is apologizing to Seungcheol and Jeonghan."

The American man fixed himself and made sure he looked presentable before he left the house and headed to the rich neighbourhood.

"This is it..." He thought as he stood on the doorway of the somewhat familiar house.

Joshua took a deep breath and mustered all of his courage to ring the doorbell. Soon the door opened, revealing Jeonghan only in a large t-shirt and messy bed-hair.

"Just like before..."The man thought and smiled fondly, as the memories of their times together came flooding in his mind.

Although Jeonghan was far from carrying the same expression on his face. He opened the door with the intention of greeting their unexpected guest, but the second he saw who had rang the doorbell his expression was no less than of pure terror and fear, and the greeting words were stuck in his throat.

"Seungcheol!" The older yelled out in horror.

The older came in running and snatched the frozen Jeonghan from the doorway before taking his place.

"What the fuck do you want." Seungcheol growled through greeted teeth as he stepped closer to the man, until he was only an inch apart from him.

"Listen man, I mean no harm. I came to apologize for what I've done. I-I wasn't in my right state of mind and I am going through a rough phase in my life it just lead me to do that. I was filled with rage I'm so sorry. I'm not asking to be friends or anything like that, all I ask is for forgiveness."

   There was silence.

Joshua's breath was shaky, and he got nervous as he saw that the anger from the man in front of him didn't die down after the apology,

"You got some nerve." The older started by saying.

"You got some nerve coming here after what you've done. Do you realize the repercussions of your little fit? Jeonghan has to go to therapy now. He is traumatized and hurt. What you did can't possibly be forgiven and shame on you for bringing Chan into this." Seungcheol finished, still enraged.
