Camila drove down the street after leaving starbucks. She loved being with the girls. Laughing with them, venting with them. They were her bestest friends. She felt herself smiling. You ever do that? Think about you and your friends and when you snap out you have a huge smile over your lips? That's how you know they mean something to you. They always made her smile.

Her smile faded when she saw Shawn laying down in the grass on the side of the road. "What the hell-" she pulled over to the side and got out. "Hey!" She called.

Shawn lifted his head, when he saw her he dropped it.

"Are you okay?" She bent down. "Holy shit." She was so confused and didn't know what to do.

"Go away." He sat up putting his head in between his legs.

She was pissed at him for being such a dick but in this moment she didn't mind. "Shut up." She said, pulling him up.

"Let go of me." He grunted pulling his arm away. She didn't understand why he was so rude, but for some reason she just ignored it and continued.

"Why are you out here?" She looked around seeing cars drive by. "It's so hot." She panted. "Your face.."

Shawn rubbed his hands over his face groaning. "They robbed me." He laid back.

She furrowed her eyes brows and her eyes widened. "Who? When? What the hell-"  She grabbed his arm.

"Stop." He sat up pulling his arm away, again. Fuck."

"I'm just trying to help you." She said softly.

"I don't need your help." He said, his face turned red. "And I didn't need your help any of the other times either." He looked in her eyes, they were cold.

"Obviously you can't handle things on your own." She rose her eyebrows looking at him and this situation.

Shawn rolled his eyes. "Are you done? Can you go now."

She sat on the grass. Trying to piss him off.

Shawn laid back. "God damn you're annoying."

Why was he like this?

"Don't say that." She said talking about the GD rule. "Why are you so rude?" She asked, really wanting to know. She hasn't done a single thing to make him act this way, she's been nothing but kind. Everyone at school labels him as weird, or bad, or not cool. She's always been nice to him and treated him normal. What does she get? A load of asshole thrown at her.

Shawn didn't answer.

She played with the grass, not knowing what to say but really not wanting to leave him. His face was all torn up. And it was like 96 degrees.

"Do you want a ride? I can take you home-"

"No." He interrupted her.

She got quiet.

"I'd rather you just leave.. I'll find my brothers." he said.

Camila looked down. She wasn't going to let him do this. "Well that sucks." She said.

He furrowed his eye brows. "I'm sorry?"
