Chapter 5

Chapter 5--

* Talias POV*

I was cleaning the dirty plates while Ryder was playing with Andrew somewhere in the house.

I never thought Ryder had a brother. They never talked or even looked at each other in school. I guess they just don't like each other. I shrugged it off and looked at my wrinkled fingers.

Haha I have old people hands.

I heard footsteps behind me. "What are we going to do today?" Ryder asked. I turned back to look at him. "Well, I was hoping we could bring Andrew to the park. Is that ok?" I asked. I turned back to the sink. I only had to clean one more plate then I could be finished.

"Yeah, that's cool. I'll go get him dressed now so when your done we can leave." He walked out the kitchen and into the living room.

15 minutes later

I had already finished the dishes and just changed into gray skinny jeans and a black V-neck. I slipped on my Chucks and walked downstairs.

Ryder and Andrew were already by the door waiting for me.

Ryder was wearing blue jeans and a red plaid shirt with his black Vans.

Andrew was wearing blue jeans and a superman hoodie with gray baby Vans.

They both looked adorable.

"Park!! Park!!" Andrew giggled happily as we walked out to the car.

I buckled him in his seat when we got in the car and sat upfront with Ryder.

Ryder turned on the radio amd Andrew was laughing and dancing along with the song.

At the park

* Ryder's POV *

I just pulled into the parking lot of the park. There was no one on the play ground. Talia was already unbuckling Andrew. I stepped out and waited for her to pull him out.

"Are you ready to have fun?" I asked Andrew. His eyes filled with excitement when he saw the playground. "Yea!!" He said with excitement.

"You can go buddy." As soon as talia put him down he took off to the slides.

Me and talia walked to the bench next to the playground and sat down.

"Do you want to take him out to get ice cream today?" I asked watching Andrew run around the playground.

"Sure, I'll pay for it." There is no way I'm letting her pay. Is she crazy?

"No, I offered so I'm paying." I said looking at her. She was already looking at me. "Fine..." She sighed.

"Mommy!!" Andrew yelled. We both quickly looked over. Thankfully nothing was wrong, he was only motioning for her to come to him. Talia stood up and walked over to him.

I watched as she bent down to his height and asked him something. He pointed up to the monkey bars and smiled. She smiled back at him and picked him up towards the bars and let him put his hands on it and act like he crossed them.

She's so beautiful. I don't understand how she doesn't have a boyfriend. Her smile was perfect and her personality was so unique. She was different from all the others.

But I can't be falling for her. I can't ruin my reputation. I shook the thoughts away and walked over to them.

"Daddy!" Andrew yelled and reached for me when he saw me behind Talia.

I picked him up and put him on my shoulders. "Do you wanna go get ice cream?" I asked. All I heard was a little gasp. "I'm going to take that as a yes." Talia said while giggling. She was so adorable.

We walked to the car and headed to Cold Stone.
