Chapter 11

* Talia's POV*

"Are we there yet?" I groaned. We have been driving for two hours and I'm starting to get fidgety. I don't know how many times I've already changed my position in my seat.
We are heading to the Yogi Bear campsite. "I thought it was closer." I whined.

I looked over at Ryder who seemed to be over the breaking point. "You're such a child." He spat. I looked at him weirdly. "Just sit right and wait."

"Why are you getting all worked up?" I questioned. It kind of hurt. Everything was fine before we left. But instead of answering me like a civil human being , he continued to drive without even looking at me. Not wanting to push the issue any further I turned around to check on Andrew. He was zoned into the cartoon that we have on the portable TV.

This is going to be a long trip.

"I thought you said it was only an hour drive." We are currently on the side of the road trying to figure out where we are.
"Siri, where are we?" His face was pressed up against his phone. "Ding. Elicott City." Siri said in a monotone voice.

"I still don't get how we aren't there yet. Its not that far and here we are lost." I started pacing. Andrew was sleeping in the car, we didn't want to disturb him. The sun was beginning to go down.
"We're not lost! God damn it! Get back in the car." Ryder was fuming, you could practically see the steam coming out of his ears. I silently climbed into the car and pulled out my phone.

Text messages

Me- dude, what are you doing?

Case- watching a movie with the stud ;) what about you?
I smiled at her weirdness. They both like each other but they still haven't made it official.

Me- on our way to the yogi bear campsite but we're currently lost lol
Ryder was still outside on his phone.

Case- do you know where you guys are?

Me- well siri said we're in Elicott City but Ryder doesn't know how to get there from here.

Case- oh, well text me when you get there so I know you guys made it safely. Anddd have fun with your stud ;p

I kept rereading the message. The words 'your stud' made my stomach flutter. I was brought out of my thoughts by a couple taps on the window. I looked over to see Ryder motioning for me to get out. I opened the door and climbed out.
"What is it?" I'm going to give complete sass. I put my hand on my hip and raised my one eyebrow. He can't yell at me and tell me to get in the car and then act that everything is fine and dandy.

"Look, I'm sorry I yelled. Im just pissed that I can't figure this out. Its late and we should've already been there by now." He was looking down at his shoes the whole time. He looks so cute, I couldn't stay mad at him any longer.
"Its fine. I forgive you. But do you know what we're going to do now?" I leaned up against the car. He started walking closer to me, "Well I found directions on map quest that can direct us from here to the yogi bear place." He was only inches away from me and all I wanted to do was kiss him. He started to lean closer to my face. He was going to kiss me, I closed my eyes and leaned in to meet air.
"Get in the car princess." He chuckled as he was already walking away. I felt the heat rush to my face. Embarrased at what I did, I slowly climbed in the car and looked out the window. Please god, get us there fast.

Sooooo I know a lot of you wanted me to update soon and I am completely sorry for the long wait. I'll stop this here and continue in another chapter. Please don't hate me for taking forever.
