Sometimes, life is hard and nobody can make anything about it.

Destiny, fate call it how you like it, it tears you apart, takes everything you love and leaves you with an aching pain. 
A pain you thought you would never experience.
A pain you wouldn't wish even your nemesis would go through.

I feel like I'm drowning.
Breathing has never been so hard.
It never burnt like that.

Living has become hard without her.

How could I live without the person who put light, hope, love and happiness in my life?

Flashback

" Don't take this shortcut it's dangerous "

" Y/N don't worry I got this! It's a shortcut it'll take us home sooner"

"Whatever Hayes but be careful okay?"

"Of course baby don't worry"
I said turning to look at her.

End of flashback

I shouldn't have looked away from the street... it's what has brought me where I am.

The lights behind her were coming closer and closer and became brighter.
The horn became always louder but it was all too fast.
We couldn't move.
In 1 second my life fell apart.

Flashback

I opened my eyes.
Black spots were dancing in front of my eyes. My head was spinning and hurting.
I brought my hand up to my forehead and touched it.
Hissing I touched the cut that went from my forehead to my chin.

"Baby?"

I turned my head to see Y/N. Her arm was twisted in a weird position and her eyes were closed.

"Baby wake up please!"

I said hearing the sirens of the ambulance wailing.

I tried taking her hand but I couldn't reach it my back hurt too much.

"Sir? Sir can you hear me?"

"Y-yes I can"

"Sir stay calm we are going to take you out of here.
Just tell me where you feel the pain."

"In my back and I can't feel my right leg.
But I don't want you to help me out first take my girlfriend out of here I can't reach her and she doesn't answer when I talk to her.
Please help her first ."

"Don't worry my colleague is going to take her out while I help you."

He opened the door with some special instrument and helped me out.

"Marco I need help for the girl help me please"

Marco (my savior) let me sit down on the street next to the car and went to help his colleague.

Every other paramedic was busy elsewhere.

Finally after 10 minutes of waiting Y/N was out of the car and on a stretcher on my side.

"H-Hayes"
The voice was barely a murmur but I
heard it .

"Y/N yes! Yes baby it's me! Are you okay? Talk to me please! "

She was closing her eyes very slowly and her breathing became even slower.

"Baby please don't close your eyes look at me! Don't sleep okay?
I'm here baby DON'T close your eyes"

Her eyes fluttered but I saw she was struggling to keep them open.

"Hayes...listen"
she said with a very strained voice.

"I can't hold it... it hurts too much..."
she was panting because of the pain.

"Baby please hold it they are going to take us to the hospital but you have to hold it.
Don't fall asleep just continue talking to me."

" Hayes... please look at me"

I looked at her face and examined her.
Y/N's face was pale and the spark I usually saw in her eyes wasn't there.
I knew she wouldn't last long but I was too selfish to let her go.
I needed her.

"Hayes I'm suffering too much... you have to let me go... please..."

"I need you. I can't live without you... I just can't..."

I was crying but I knew she was right.
She was crying silently because of the pain and what we were saying.
I looked back at her eyes and forgot the scattered glass and the horror around us.

"You...you've made me the happiest girl in this world Hayes and even if I go you have to continue living... for you, for your family, for me and for us... Never forget that I love you and that you are and always will be the love of my life.... and I'm happy because even if I'm dying I am looking at you and getting lost in your beautiful ocean eyes... I ... I love you Hay..."

Her head tilted over and her breathing stopped...
I knew she wasn't on this earth anymore but she was somewhere safe and she wasn't in pain anymore.

I was in so much pain... the love of my life just died...

End of flashback

She was my light, my happiness and living without her is hard but for her... for her I am going to live but she will always be the one and only love of my life.
