Chapter 2
I started to walking over to my friends, still thinking about the guy I had just met. As I got closer to the big group of friends I noticed that everyone was staring at me. "What's everyone looking at?" I asked raising an eyebrow.
"Who was the hot guy you were talking to and why didn't you introduce me?" Kayla shouted causing me to look around making sure no one was staring at us.
I felt a light jab in my rib, I turn my head to find my best friend Milla wiggling her eyebrows and smiling brightly. " He's just your type Anna!" she giggled.
I rolled my eyes and give her a light punch back to her shoulder. "Shut up, weirdo." Laughing I walked over to the bench, broke off a few icicles and sat down. The cold bench caused my body to start to shake.
Suddenly I felt a warm jacket being placed over my shoulders and I look to find my boyfriend, Brad smiling at me. " Hey there Brad" I said a little louder than necessary. The group fell silent at the mention of Brad's name. " When did you get here? I thought you had school today."
"I do but I thought today we could ditch" I hated ditching I always feel that I'm going to get caught, but Brad was always so hard to say no to.
" I...I..I don..I can't" I stuttered. I quickly tried to think of an excuse.
" We have a huge unit test and if we dont take it today then we fail the class!" Kayla quickly spoke up talking so fast it was hard to hear what she had said.
Before Brad could say anything else the bell rang and I was pulled away toward the school for 5th period.
