"yo, ji. grab some bunny patties, hun." i said handing her the burgers i cooked from the kitchen. "those two seems bothersome. they always come here and are always so loud." i said to her as i grab a bite from my burger.

"nah, they're cool once you actually meet them. and they're really beautiful, i'm telling you real stuffs, nabong." she said as she took a bite too. i just shrugged. "imma get some water." i said and stood up from the couch.

i suddenly stepped on something. i picked it up and it's someone's phone. not mine nor jihyo's tho. "ya, your friend left her pho-" my words were cut off when the door flew open.

"jihyo, i dropped my phone." she said and she suddenly looked at me. i'm shocked. that's the girl, i bumped into. the one who broke my phone. "what the-. what are you doing here? you are so rude after i helped. you should've thanked me." she shouted.

what the fuck? "you know jeong, nayeon?" jihyo asked me. i looked at jihyo speechless. "you're im nayeon? well hell. give me my phone. i'm leaving." that jeong girl said and slammed our door.

"well, that was rude. i haven't got to say my sorry and thank you." i said in this silence between me and jihyo.

"wow, just what happened?" jihyo asked. "she broke my phone for helping me not to die. i crossed the road when it was green light." i said with my head hung low.

"i was just disappointed. i didn't mean to raise my voice on her. ji, i'm sorry i did that to her." i said with tears almost running down my face.

"no, nayeon. it's okay. stop crying and get your water. now." she said and i just obeyed.

i went back to jihyo and some minutes later someone knocked. "ji, i'd be at my room. i don't want to cause more troubles." i said and went to my room.

well, i did it. i had punished jeong for eating my jokbal. she is not allowed to go to jihyo's for a week. "c'mon momo. please, i need to go there. i left my phone. promise, i'll just get it and we'll start when i'm back." she said on her knees

i rolled my eyes. "alright, go on." i said and she left happily. it has only been minutes and she's back with grumpy face. well, i wasn't expecting her to be this fast. i thought she would stall some time.

"you're back." i said looking shocked. "i'd be happy doing our deal. one week not going to jihyo's. even if you say for a month or forever, i don't care. i won't be going to that house." she said coldly.

i wonder what happened. "uhm, you alright?" i asked trying to comfort her. something must've happened bad. "you like our neighbor, right? im nayeon?" she suddenly asked that got me taken aback.

"what do you mean? i haven't even met her yet. did you?" i said out of curiosity. "i know you like her by the way you have been curious about her all the time. admit it, i'm right." she said.

"yeah, i kinda do." i said in a low voice. "then don't pursue it. she won't be good for you, mo. she's that girl i talked about at the cafe." she said. the rude girl?

she didn't seem rude to me when i first heard her voice. she seems really sweet. "listen even just this once. don't. please." she said. i sighed. "okay, i won't like her anymore." i said and gave her a assuring smile.

it'll be okay. after all, that nayeon girl is just a mere crush. "i'll be at my room." i nodded. maybe i should check on jihyo and nayeon.

i went out and knocked on jihyo's home. "jihyo-ssi." i muttered still knocking. she finally opens the door with a sad gaze to me.

"oh, hey momo. you can come in." she asked. i gently nodded and sat at the sofa. i smelled that sweet scent again. "i just want to talk to nayeon unnie. there could've been a misunderstanding between them and jeong. i want to hear her side."

jihyo sighed. "i'm sorry, but she's taking a rest now. unnie can't be stressed. s-she." she stuttered a bit and continued. "she needs some rest for today. she has been really tired, so yeah. it's afternoon and jeong might be waiting for you. go back, now." she said.

i didn't got enough info. i sighed. "okay. thanks, jihyo." i said and left. she was supposed to spill something. i kinda felt it. what is it that is making her not say it?

nayeon, must've got some secrets about her and i'm sure that there's a big chance jihyo knows about it. it makes me more curious of her.

i went to my room and rested myself on my comfy bed. i opened my ig to look at some updates on bts. then a notification caught my eyes.

"ms. bunny is now following you." that's what it reads. is this true? i followed her back. should i open up a convo or something.

then, suddenly i got a message. from ms. bunny. "it wasn't fun seeing me, peach." she said that kinda made me chuckle. she called me by my nickname.

"no, you're actually pretty. i want to talk to you more but i have to go." i replied. i've thought of going to the park tonight. to clear my mind, i guess.

"oh, sure. i'll be going too. bye." she said.

i got a call all of a sudden. i answered it. "ey, mo. jennie's ice cream shop have an opening tonight near the park. you going?" this bubbly girl on the phone said.

"i was thinking of going straight to the park, but i guess i'll be checking on your girlfriend's shop first, jisoo." she chuckled lightly.

"okay, i'll hang up now. tell jeong to come too." she said. "i'll try." i replied then she finally dropped the call.

anyways, updating the books has been very rough. because i lack a lot of time to write some and think of more ideas

since, i'm on 10th grade, school has been giving more stress. but i'm still doing fine so that's cool, i guess.

next update might take longer again. :‹
