Chapter 5

*The next morning*

I wake up and for the first time in forever I got a half decent sleep.. was it because of Ethan? I'm guessing yes. I feel like we might become good friends.. or do I like him.. ptff I can't, I barely know him and no way in hell would he like me like that.. no one has.

Ugh I have work today, 8 hour shift from 9:00am-5:00pm. It's 8 right now so I might as well get ready.

I finished getting ready and I still had 20 minutes until work so I just grabbed my stuff and decided to leave a bit early.

*skip to after work*

I arrived home, work was okay. Boring as usual but what better can it get, I'm not really the talkative person to any person I see. I chuck my purse that has my stuff in it on the bench and grabbed a apple. Then had nothing really to do so I just relaxed.
After awhile I realised I haven't checked my phone in awhile, but let's be real there's no need since no one texts me.. But what is Ethan did but I shouldn't get my hopes up.
I grab my phone and see that no one has text me.. I don't know why I even slightly had my hopes up, nothings changed. As I was about to put my phone down a ding went off. I turn my phone around so I can read the screen and it's Ethan.. omg it's actually him.

Ethan: hey, I had a good time yesterday. Do you wanna maybe hang out tomorrow?
Me: yeah sure, but I have work and it finished at 6pm so we can do it after then.
Ethan: sounds good, see you then

Omg what is happening to me, I've suddenly gotten a jolt of happiness just from this. I really hope this isn't a mistake but I just can't hold my self back.. will this be too good to be true..

*next day*

Ughh work is going forever, it's 5 so at least I only have an hour left. As much as I'm good being alone, trust issues and all. I kind of, really like his company.

Finally! Works over. I'm going to go home and get changed and Ethan's going to pick me up and take to to a surprise of his choice, casual of course.

I'm ready and Ethan's almost here, I'm waring some denim shorts and a cropped jumper.. can't forget to cover my arms.. I let out a deep breath and hear a knock on my door. I open it and see Ethan.
"Hi Ethan" I say with a smile
"Macy" and he returns one
As we walk to his car I decide to ask.
"Are you going to tell me where we are going?"
"Nope" he pops the p
"A hint?" I say with jokingly hope
"Haha no" he chuckles and looks down

After about a 30 minute drive I'm really confused but it has been really nice, jamming to throwback songs which just make me happy. Haven't felt like this in the longest time.. and something tells me Ethan hasn't either.
We start driving down a dirt road, giving me a indication we're close. But just to clarify..
"Are we close"
"Yup" he quite confidently says
"As long as you don't murder me, we've made it to fucking woods haha"
"Yeah watch out, saw you as a easy target"
"Really" I look at him slightly smirking

"We're hereeeee" he says

Before I can look up he puts his hand over my eyes.
"Wtf"
"You can't look yet!" He grabs a blind fold and puts it over my eyes
He then hops out and goes around and helps me out of the car and leads me to a spot.
"Ok you can take the blindfold off"

I reach up and take the blindfold off. It takes a few seconds for my eyes to adjust to what's in front of me then what I see takes my breath away.
"I-it's b-beautiful" I'm amazed by what's in front of me.

It's silent for a moment while I take in the beautiful sight, but a comfortable silence. Before I even comprehend anything, Ethan grabs my hand and leads me towards the abandoned show rides.. all lit up with beautiful fairy lights.
It some how looks super old but kind of taken care of. It's small with few rides and games but the Ferris wheel stood out in my eye.
No one has ever taken me to somewhere anything like this..
Ethan did this.. for me. I get a sudden butterflies in my stomach, I've never gotten this feeling before.. oh my, what is this boy doing to me.

Ethan's POV.

I catch my self starring at Macy, but she has no clue. She's completely taken away by what's in front of us. But I'm just taken away by how fucking beautiful she is. Who could break such a beautiful soul.. it breaks my heart.
I grab her hand which takes her by surprise but soon gets comfortable with it. I lead her to the Ferris wheel which I noticed caught her eye.
"Are you scared of heights?"
"No.." she looks confused
"Ok good" I smirk
I begin to get on a ledge and start climbing a ladder up the inside of the Ferris wheel. I look back down at her and she looks a bit nervous but still decides to follow.
On the way up I've constantly been looking down and checking her and we're almost at the top seat.
As we reach it I get in it first, then Macy gets in not long after. She looks relieved to be up. I chuckle and she giggles a bit.
"This is beautiful Ethan" she looks over at me, then turns to take in the view of the city lights shining bright in the distance and then the stars and moon. But I just can not take my eyes off her.
"Yeah, as soon as I got here I just wanted to find somewhere I can escape.. luckily I found this place. I actually just stumbled across the lights when I was looking around" I chuckle and kind of look down
"Wow, this is truly just what I needed." She said
She moved down a bit and put her head on my shoulder and getting comfortable.. this is perfect.

Macy's POV.

Something about Ethan just makes him irresistible to me. For the first time my trust issues, disappear around him I guess you could say. I hope I never loose him.
I turn my head up to look at him and see he's already  looking down at me. Thankgod it's dark so he can't see the flush of pink spread on my cheeks. I look back at the view in front of us. Then he breaks the silence.
"Your beautiful"
I get taken back by his words then my cheeks heat up even more. When I look up at him again he looks like even he is taken back by what he said. He looks at me and I just say fuck it to my self.
I lean in and slowly place my lips on his.
