Maya shuts the door and walks into the kitchen. My dad walks in a few minutes later.
"What are you doing here?" he asks.
"Waiting on Alexx to get back from her date." she says slipping him a 20.
"Your welcome to the fridge." he says then goes
back to his football game. and that was the night all my ice cream and cheese disappeared.
