The Void has kept us locked away
We have yet to see the real face of day.
We all walk
we don't talk
our minds are spinning
We have our own regrets and we have our own dreams, but if we were different it never showed. Soon my people turned to one all the same faceless people. They never looked like me and I never looked like them.
I found myself alone in the world I created.
I wanted to find an escape to finally be noticed, there were no cracks in the walls. All the doors were locked up tight.
Inside the castle, I mourn my life looking through blurry eyes. I was now alone as my people left me over the horizon and disappeared in the sun. I jumped from the wall after them, my ankles became broken but I still ran. The sun quickly faded from me leaving me in the darkened night. I looked at the sky....blood tears ran down my cheek and floated into the air. All the stars were gone...all except mine. I was now alone for the depth of time.
I was abandoned and cast away
My body was the only thing left of me.
My mind became silent, my body grew cold.
I could only curl up alone onto the ground. I touched the grass, watched as my touch turned it grey. It sizzled and smoked. I turned the world back to ash and all my buildings fell.
There I laid not wanting to move as I found it pointless to breathe, to feel, to even search the face of this forsaken land.
I let my tears fall, I let them stain my cheeks and burn into my hands as I wiped at them from time to time. I became dead and hollow, and no one even bothered to make me feel alive.
I was taken by the void, and so were you. The world set you free but kept me captive.
