It was was August. The boys spent all summer planning collage and helping Jimin's father pack some things in the house.

Jimin was moving to Seoul. Taehyung had gotten accepted at a collage in Busan which made both boys lowkey cry.

Jungkook was going to community collage close by. The three boys were all ignoring the fact that they will live far from each other for four years.

Taehyung was scared to go alone, but he really wanted to go to collage to major in art. Jimin was given a job at his dads business and Jungkook wasn't worried about anything since he wasn't moving.

"I can't believe this won't be my room anymore," Jimin says on the last day of their summer as they stand in his empty room, "we did some kinky stuff in here."

Tae rolls his eyes.

Jungkook looks around, "It feels like I lived here."

"We did," Jimin says, "I mean, this was our home for two years."

The boys go quite as they let it sink in.

"Can we visit the pond one last time?" Taehyung asks, "I need to say goodbye."

"To a pond?"

"To my safe place," Taehyung says as the boys walk out the empty house. They get in Jimin's car and drive down to the woods. They get out and walk down the trail to the pond.

Tae stops and he has a lot of emotions seeing this place again for maybe the last time. This place is what brought them together.

This place is also where he tried to end his life.

This place is where he realized he didn't want to die.

"I can't believe I'm leaving," Taehyung says to the boys, "I use to wish with all my heart to leave this town."

"You don't want to now?"

"I finally have good memories to leave behind. It's harder."

Jimin hugs Taehyung from behind, "Your future will have better memories. You will become a famous artist and I will buy all your painting to hang up in my big office at my dads work."

Taehyung smiles at that. Jungkook comes over, "And I'll be a doctor or some shit."

"We are trying to think realistic things," Taehyung says making Jungkook gape at him. Jimin cackles.

"Fine, but I'll be something good."

"In four years, we will have a beautiful life. We will be married," Jimin continues.

"You want to get married?" Taehyung asks, "when?"

Jungkook speaks, "Why not after four years? Once we get out of collage, let's get fucking married. There's nothing stopping us."

Taehyung smiles and kiss Jungkook then kisses Jimin.

"We are going to have happy lives, my loves," Jungkook tells them, pulling them both into a hug.

The boys stay at the pond until it goes dark, just sitting in the place they fell in love. Talking about anything they could and touching as much as they could since they would be miles away from each other the next day.

This is the ending of SERENDIPITY. I loved this book and I'm glad to start the next one in the series.
