Dean and Castiel decided to watch a movie and order some pizza. Before they started the movie, Dean stepped outside and had a smoke break. Castiel followed out.

"Dean, you know that's bad for you, right?" He asked, concerned for Dean.

"I know, I just don't care," He shrugged, letting out a deep breath of smoke before flicking the cigarette butt into the yard. Dean turned around to see Castiel looking down.

"Dean?"

"Yea, Cas?" Castiel couldn't help but smile at Dean's nickname. He didn't like people using his nickname but hearing it from the senior made him feel safe, some reason.

"Why did you turn red when I told you I was gay?"

"Uh, that's one of those secrets I'll tell you when we're.. Better friends." He gave a quick smile, Castiel returning the smile and followed him inside. They sat on the couch, Castiel under a blue blanket, and started Death At A Funeral. Castiel had picked it out from a case of movies Dean had.

The couch they relaxed upon wasn't really that comfortable since it caved in towards the center, causing them to sit closer to each other. As they watched the movie, Dean would occasionally glance over at Castiel to see if he ever fell asleep, but he was so immersed into the movie. Half way through the movie, Dean got up and made another bag of popcorn while Castiel continued watching the film. He made it the way he'd like it since the younger boy didn't eat much popcorn. Besides, it was good the way he made it.

It was all fine and dandy but when it got to the gay lovers' scene, it got a bit awkward between the two of them. Castiel was practically laying on Dean but when that scene showed up, both Dean and Castiel sat up straight. To cut the tension, Dean decided to speak up.

"Hey Cas, would you want to stay the night?" He asked rather fast, Castiel looking to Dean, taking a minute to process the question before answering.

"I do, but I think I'll get in trouble." Dean frowned at his answer but understood.

"Alright, maybe this weekend. And, is it okay if we're strangers at school? We can still hang out afterwards." Castiel agreed and they finished the movie before Dean walked the tired Junior to his house. They walked side by side, taking up the width of the sidewalk. Once they got to Castiel's house, they hug before Castiel went inside and Dean headed home.

"Dean!" A familiar voice shouted. Dean turned around, smiling wide when he saw Benny with his dog, Buster. Buster was a Saint Bernard and stood to Benny's thigh.

"Benny!" Dean ran over and gave Benny a big hug, Buster jumping on his back. They walked through the park, sitting at a bench near the softball field. They talked about various things while smoking. Old cars, parties, the usual stuff. After half an hour of talking, Dean decided to head home.

Three AM. Dean was still awake, laying in bed with a pillow in his arms. He couldn't stop thinking about Castiel. He turned on the Christmas lights that hung over his bed and got out a black book from his nightstand as well as a red mechanical pencil. Back in his freshman year he was one of the best artists but shut that down when he followed in his dad's footsteps to become a mechanic. Dean started to sketch until four AM, passed out with his head leaned to the side and the sketchbook in his lap. It was a half drawn picture of Castiel, the photo he took from the detention room earlier that day. As he dreamt, it was the nicest one he had in years. Cas was there and they were happily together, but deep down he knew that'd never happen.
