Today was the day. The Purge. Every year, it happens. I don't have to worry about it because, I'm very unknown. They call me names like, 'The girl in The Shadows' or 'The blonde mysterious'. But my favorite one is 'An Angel's Silhouette'. I'm known as that bitch with the blonde wig,vintage dress, with a black hood to cover me up. It blends me with the shadows. I'm not very happy, I just lived a shitty past.
Anyways, the Purge was about to start.
"Carina, please don't go out there again." my only friend said to me from the telephone line. "Celeste, innocent people need help, America's stupid and no one deserves to die." "Just be careful, I know you never had someone by your side, but I'm here. I understand that you don't get along with people, but anyways, stay safe." I hear her voice cracks up. "Thanks Celeste, be safe."
My eyes gotten watery. Celeste only knows half of my story. I don't share my Tragedies.
I started to pack stuff to my bag. Guns,knife,bow and arrow, three things that I'm good with.
If your wondering what I'm doing, I'm saving some lives.
As the tv goes on, I cover my ears. I hate listening to that shitty robotic voice. I could make a better one.
This was it. I guess this was it. I'll never know what's gonna happen.
Will I die? know one would even care.
I cover my ears till the loud horn comes on.
