Chapter 5

Me: Hey everybody Starcollector here! So here is part 5 and I just want to say thank you tothe people who commented on my last chapter I really appreciate it. This chapter is dedicated to MoonlightStarlights who is AWESOME and who commented on my last chapter.

Gold: Why would they even bother commenting on this story?

Me: Goooold.... You don't want to go there..

Gold: Yes ma'am...

Me: Good now do the disclaimer!

Me: *pats his head* Good boy!

Gold: *growls*

Me: Anyway on with the story!

Gold's POV

        I'm sitting at home trying to figure out how to confess to Crys before her birthday, because I made that deal with Blue. But after we shook on it something else happened...

(Flashback)

        "Okay , you have $40.00 already right?" Blue asked.

        "Yeah," I responded.

        "Okay so I'll give you the remaining $80.00 the day before Crys' birthday."

        "Why the day before?" I asked, confused.

        "Because I need to make sure you confess to Crys. Anyway I got to go, see you tomorrow Gold bye!" She answered and ran off before I even had a chance to say anything.

(Flashback ended)

        "Ugh why me..." I groaned and put my hands over my eyes, "Why is this so hard?"

        I was brought back to reality when my pokegear rang.

        I picked it up from where it was on the table next to me and answered it.

        "Hello?" I said.

        "Hey Gold!"

        "Oh Senior Red, what's up?"

        "You want to come train with me?"

        "Sure where?"

        "Meet me at the field."

        "Kay sure, bye" I replied then hung up.

        'Maybe this will get my mind off of things,' I thought with a sigh.

        When I arrived at the park, Senior Red was already waiting for me there.

        "Yo! Senior Red!" I waved.

        He turned towards me and grinned, "Hey Gold, you ready?"

        I held up my pokeballs, "Yep, what kind of battle is it today?"

        "Today we are having a double battle," he replied while getting out his own pokeballs.

        "Alright let's get started!" I yelled, "Come on out Exbo and Togebo!" i threw two pokeballs and my Typhlosion and Togekiss came out.

        "Go Saur and Poli!" Red shouted.

        "Togebo double edge!" I cried.

        "Dodge it Poli!" My senior countered.

        "Exbo flamethrower!" Exbo shot a large blast of fire towards Saur, and it looked like it would make contact but then...

        "Poli counter it with hydro pump!" The water clashed with the fire and the fire was immediatly extinguished.

        'Darn it!" I thought.

        "Saur Sludge bomb on Togebo!" Red ordered.

        "Togebo dodg-" I was cut off when Togebo was hit with the sludge. "Togebo! Urgh Exbo inferno!" It hit Saur and made him get burned.

        "Poli dynamic punch on Exbo!" 

        I couldn't react fast enough and Exbo was hit by the move, "Exbo use earthquake!" The ground started to rock and I almost fell.

        "Saur energy ball!" It hit Togebo.

        "Togebo hang in there! Use solar beam on Poli!" I yelled, it hit Poli dead on and I thought Poli would faint but I was surprised again when Poli was still standing.

        "Nice try Gold but that isn't enough to take down Poli! Poli use scald!" Red screamed. It hit Exbo and he fainted.

        "Exbo no! Grrrr... Return Exbo! Togebo sky attack!" I put Exbo back into his pokeball and Togebo started to glow.

        "Poli psychic!" Togebo was hit by the move but managed to hang on.

        "Good job Togebo! Now attack!" Togebo hit Saur but Saur still didn't faint.

        "Poli finish this off with ice beam!" Togebo was hit and fainted.

        "Togebo return! You two were great, rest up," I said.

        Red returned Saur and Poli to their pokeballs and walked over to me.

        "Good job Gold you almost made Saur and Poli faint," senior Red said, "But you seemed distracted during our battle, your pokemon got hit by moves they could have easily dodged."

        "It's nothing senior Red..." I muttered.

        "I'm not that dense Gold I can tell something's bothering you. So what is it?"

        "I don't really want to talk about it..." I told him.

        "Blue blackmailing you?"

        I looked up in shock, how could he tell?

        "So it is, well don't worry you're Gold right? You always get through any situation you're in." He assured me.

        "Yeah... Thanks Red," I replied.

        "No problem if you want to talk about anything you can call me alright?"

        "Alright..."

        "Good, well I've got to get going I told Yellow I'd meet her for dinner. Bye Gold," he said, then walked off.

        I started to walk back to my own house, thinking the whole way there.

        'Maybe tomorrow will be better?'

Hey guys Starcollector here! Now before you throw any fruit at me, I'm sorry I haven't updated in, like, 2 weeks. But I went on a trip and then when I got back I didn't know what to write...So sorry again! Also for this chapter I actually researched stuff and that's another reason it took a while. Also before any of you guys say it, I don't care if Poliwrath can't learn hydro pump! And if any people disagree they'll meet my blade *Pulls out a sword*! So for this chapter I decided to do bro bonding/ training with Gold and Red because there is still 5 days until Crystal's birthday in story world and I needed something to write about! Rant over!
