A/N: Hey guys! So this chapter will be you learning to teach! Remember how Midna said you were going to be teaching?
Yami: How could they forget? It came outta nowhere!
A/N: Well, some veterans may have expected it. I've done it before.
Yami: Well, I think it's my turn to end an author's note!
A/N: Be my guest.
Yami: Ok, so, A/N has changed it up so that you make Zant's 'sound' when you walk into a room with his gear on. Anyone who played the game knows what I mean by that. It's in the song too. You're all a very talkative community, so I'm sure you'll figure it out! Enjoy!
Y/N's POV
I can't believe the Queen agreed with this. Making me a teacher? Was she crazy? I've been known to be really harsh when faced with poor discipline, failure, and everything in between. If any students are as 'difficult' as the girls from before, I might just take on my old role as executioner again.
In any case, I had to shadow Glynda Goodwitch, a combat instructor, so I could learn how to deal with these students. So, as per the Queen's request, or rather Ozpin's request, I went into Glynda's shadow after she left her dorm. I let her take us to the classroom where I stayed in her shadow.
Glynda: Ok, class. Today we will have a new possible teacher helping me today.
Helping her? I didn't hear anything about that. I came out of her shadow and took on my Twili form, wearing my normal robes, but with Zant's helmet open and hidden behind my neck. The students looked shocked at my sudden appearance, but I just turned to face Goodwitch.
Y/N: I don't recall agreeing to help you with the lesson.
Glynda: It shouldn't be a problem for you. You'll merely be testing the students fighting styles.
Y/N: So I'm beating down on children?
Glynda: No, you'll be on the defensive, observing them.
She has such a demanding and cold voice. It's like at any moment she could kill you.
Y/N: Alright, I'll bite. Who's up first?
Glynda: Miss. Nikos, could you step into the arena?
As Goodwitch asked, a redhead with bronze armour and a sword and shield stepped in.
Glynda: Miss. Nikos here is top of the class. I believe she will be the toughest fighter in the room for you. Don't disappoint.
Y/N: Be more worried about what happens if she actually gets the better of me.
Nikos took on a fighting stance, wishing me luck. I appreciated that. She felt like a proper warrior. Prideful and honourable. Too bad I was as sneaky and underhanded as they come in the Twilight Realm. I readied my swords, closing the mask over my face as my robes changed to Zant's attire. I waited for her to make the first move, and she did.
She started off with a running slash, going for the legs. Smart, low protection where my weapons aren't. However, tactics will get you nowhere without the skill to follow through. I simply lowered my swords and blocked the strike, expecting a follow-up, but she jumped away. She was playing the patient game.
Y/N: I've been requested to stay on the defensive. You'll have to attack me.
Nikos: I know that. So I'm using it to my advantage.
This surprised me a bit. She was using my inability to advance as a means to look for a crack in my defence. I smirked under my mask and decided to switch things up. I summoned a few Twilight Keese and a Kargarok to attack her. If I couldn't attack, I'd have my summons do it for me. Just like the Kargarok, the Keese was inverted in colour, due to my magic not being evil like Zant's.
