Scared? You should be. You're applying for a critique.  You're literally asking us to tell us what's wrong with your book. That takes guts, so props to you.

But you know what you're doing here, so let's cut to the chase, shall we?

Our critiques are very in-depth, and as such, our process is rather unique

Our critiques are very in-depth, and as such, our process is rather unique. Unless you state otherwise in your form, you will receive critiques both in comment form and in a final, summarized form here in this book. The critic for your genre will read through your work and leave feedback as they go, so you'll have some specific instances and examples to work with, and then the final, summarized critique will be posted in this book.

To qualify, your work MUST BE YA. We accept most YA sub-genres, with the exclusion of erotica and fanfiction (though that may change in the future). The only payment we ask is that you tag three people when you submit your form, which is really so very easy.

Your work will be rated in five categories, and receive a score from 5 to 25 OR 5 to 15. The score you receive will depend on what level of harshness you choose for your critique. We have two options:

You have faith in your work, and what's more, you're tough

You have faith in your work, and what's more, you're tough. We'll be brutally honest with you. That doesn't mean we're going to be mean, per se, but we're not going to shield you from the truth. If your work sucks, you're going to hear about it. Because we're being totally, 100% honest, your critique will be able to achieve 25 points maximum. Your score will be determined from a scale of 1 to 5 stars in each category:
