Chapter 1

Nicole's pov

I'm hanging out with hunt and I have a court date for custody of Brooke.

"Hunt watch Brooke please I'll be back in a hour or so"

"Okay I hope everything goes fine" hunt said

"It will"

I went out to hunt's mustang because he said I could take it since my truck hasn't been starting. It took me 30 minutes to get to the court house and I was so nervous.

"Hey you must be Ms.Bryan, I'm your lawyer Dustin Griffith" he said sticking his arm out for me to shake

"Nice to meet you" I said shaking his hand

"Can I see a picture of Brooke?" Dustin asked

"Sure" I said pulling out my phone showing him a picture of Hunt holding Brooke

"Who is the guy?" Dustin asked

" My lifelong bestfriend Hunter Hayes"

"Ok, your ex and his lawyer just got here so we need to take our seats." Dustin said

We say down at a table on the left where Scotty and his lawyer sits at a table on the right.

"Nicole why do you think Brooke should stay with you" the judge asked

" I don't go on your for months at a time, and if I have to go some where I always have a responsible sitter with her. I'm normally the only one that took care of her needs. Mr.McCreery just cleaned her diapers and played with her and I did everything else"

"Is this true Scott?" the judge asked

"Yes it is" Scotty said

"There's only one answer to this question and that is Nicole gets to keep custody of Brooke because you Scott are always gone. do you want to change her last name to Bryan while you're here?" the judge asked

"Yes I would love that"

I went home after that .

"Hey hunt"

"Hey Nic how'd it go? Brooke said ma earlier!" hunt said smiling

"It went great I have custody! that's awesome Hunt"

I hugged him and hunter said

"I love you Nicole" Hunt said

"I love you too"
