Eijirou has awakened from his one week coma. Katsuki is pacing around in his agency, trying to work up the courage to visit Eijirou for the last time.
He spent the next hour pacing around his agency before he was kicked out by his secretary and was forced to go to the hospital.
When he arrived at the hospital, he ran to Eijirou. There, he saw him wince from the pain, but tried to put up a brave face by smiling. The sight of this broke what was left of Katsuki's heart.
"Hey, shitty hair. You alright?" Katsuki asked, trying to sound as cold as possible.
"Katsuki, I wanna apologize.... I'm sorry I woke up without all of the memories we made. I know you're a different incarnation, but you're still Katsuki. You still had all of our memories even when I didn't. I can't believe I even let myself forget something so precious to me. I finally understand why you were so hurt when I asked you who you were when I first woke up. I'm sorry, and I love you....." Eijirou rambled.
"It doesn't matter anymore. This will be the last time we'll see each other. All I've ever caused you was pain, even in our high school days. You're better off without me, where you can start over and find someone more suitable for you. I'll do the same while holding onto our memories. I came here to say goodbye. This is it. Everything's over. You won't have to worry about me bothering you anymore. Goodbye Eijirou." Katsuki said before running out the door, trying to hold back his tears.
He could hear Eijirou getting up and trying to run after him. He could hear him collapsing from the pain in his stomache and stopping to try to relieve the pain.
By the time he was outside, his cheeks were stained and still overflowing with his tears. There, he broke down. Sobs shook his entire body. He couldn't stop.
"I wish I could've told you the truth sooner. It look's like it's going to be left untold..." he said to himself.
He was left there crying in front of the hospital. He completely lost track of time. People occasionally glanced at him for a bit before turning away, assuming the worst. He didn't care if people stared. In that moment, he didn't care about anything. He was numb from all the pain he had to go through.
Eijirou eventually was able to catch up to Katsuki. He saw Katsuki on his knees, crying but not seeming to even notice the tears running downing his face.
"Hey! Why did you just run out like that? I poured my heart out to you right there and you just run out like it meant nothing? What kind of bitch— wait dude you alright?" Eijirou yelled before stopping when he realized how hurt Katsuki looked.
"I thought I told you that this was the last time we were gonna see each other. I meant what I said Eijirou, so leave me alone." Katsuki replied, slowly calming down from his mental breakdown.
Eijirou sighed a long sigh before getting up and dragging Katsuki back in the hospital. Katsuki tried defying Eijirou at first, but then realized that Eijirou is in his weakest state so he let him have his way. Eijirou pushed him down to one of the seats in the hospital before checking himself out.
Since Katsuki was a pro hero, they trusted that Katsuki had nurses in his agency who could apply medicine and change Eijirou's bandages daily.
Katsuki and Eijirou drove home in silence. You could say it's more awkward than when you think someone's waving to you, and you wave back and then realize they were waving to the person behind you. The tension was so thick you could literally cut it in half.
They arrived home and Katsuki let Eijirou do what he wanted in his home while he tried making any type of contact with him as possible. Eijirou obviously noticed this, but tried ignoring it and thought Katsuki will stop giving him the cold shoulder sooner or later.
Will Katsuki start interacting with Eijirou though? Who knows?Lol i surprisingly didn't cry while writing this chapter
