You, Wally, and your uncle were racing around Captain Cold as Wally tried to convince uncle Barry that you needed to hurry. As much as you didn't like how pushy Wally was being with uncle Bar, you knew he was right.

"We do really need to hurry," you said before swiftly snatching Captain Cold's gun from him. While he was distracted, Wally ran in and punched him, effectively knocking him out. Before he could start chatting it up with anyone, you and Wally each grabbed one of uncle Barry's arms and sped off towards the Hall of Justice.

"Sorry but-," you started.

"-But today is the day!" Wally finished.

-Timeskip-

You three skid to a halt only once you reached the Hall.

"Aw man, I knew we'd be the last ones here!" Wally shouted.

"At least we're here before everyone else actually got to go inside," you chuckled.

As the crowds of fans and reporters argued back and forth about your names, you were busy being distracted by Green Arrow's sidekick, Speedy, aka Roy Harper. You two knew each other and, despite your near constant bickering, you two were actually quite close. You'd even go so far as to say you found yourself attracted to him. Of course, it would never work out because when has romance ever worked out for you? Yet you couldn't suppress your feelings for the hotheaded archer.

"Don't call us sidekicks... not after today," you were pulled back to reality by the conversations of the others.

"Sorry," Wally replied, "first time at the Hall,"

"We're a little overwhelmed," you added.

"You're overwhelmed, Freise was underwhelmed, why isn't anyone ever just whelmed?" Robin asked which caused you to crack a smile. Robin was Wally's best friend and you saw him as a younger brother. The three of you were practically inseparable and you trusted each other more than just about anyone. Because of that both you and Wally knew Robin's secret identity is Dick Grayson and you both knew his backstory. "Oh, maybe that's why,"

The five of you looked up to see enormous statues of League members. As you tried to stay whelmed, a door opened in front of you and Red Tornado and Martian Manhunter stepped out to welcome you all to the Hall of Justice. "You now have unlimited access to the gym, our fully stocked Galley, and of course our library," Manhunter explained.

"Make yourselves at home" uncle Bar said as everyone but Roy took a seat.

"Quick debrief to discuss the coincidence of four ice villains attacking on the same day," Batman stated to his fellow league members before looking to the five of you "We shouldn't be long," as a machine scanned the League members and called their names and designations, you looked over at Roy who seemed to be getting angrier by the second. You gave him a questioning look and hoped he wasn't about to go off on the league members for whatever reason.

"That's it!?" he shouted. Well shit, you thought to yourself and mentally facepalmed. "You promised us a real look inside, not a glorified backstage pass,"

"It's a first step," Aquaman sated in an effort to calm him down. "You've been granted access few others get,"

"Oh really!?" Roy gestured up at the tourists that had been snapping pictures of us since we had gotten into the library. "Who cares which side of the glass we're on?" You had to admit, he had a point. This really didn't feel like much of a first step.

"Roy, you just need to be patient," Green Arrow tried to reason with him.

"What I need is respect," Roy turned to the four of you. "They're treating us like kids. Worse, like sidekicks! We deserve better than this," you looked between Kid, Robin, and Aqualad and chewed your lip in indecision. Maybe he was right, but you still wasn't sure. "You're kidding, right? You're playing their game? Why? Because you think they play fair? Today was supposed to be the day, step one in becoming full-fledged members of the League,"
