There are now three girls staying in our house at the moment. I don't get where hyungs find them, but every time they come home there's another one. It's like they bring home abused girls instead of cute little pets like kittens and puppies; even miniature pigs. I'm not complaining though.
Yea I know: highschool boy, girls living in his house. I see where the mind would wonder; Perv. I like them for their company, not for reasons the average teen would think.
My hyungs have me to protect and look after, and now I have the girls. I always miss school anyway, but now I can use watching them as an excuse that Boram hyung sometimes accepts. My "friends" at school say they miss me. I don't know how, we were never really that close. They use me more for my smarts and appearance than actual companionship.
The only good things in my life right now are these girls. Hyung is going crazy faster than usual, while Bit hyung seems to walk farther and farther from us. And as always, I'm stuck in the middle.Bit hyung left early in the morning to take Jiseung home. Boram hyung never came home. It was just me and the girls.
"Su? Su!" Gwang passed her hand infront of my face, noticing I'm zoned out.
"Huh? Oh, did you say something?" Scratching my head, I wonder just how long I've been out...
"I said it three times! You really weren't listening? Ugh, forget it. Sora wants to go outside, but I've told her she isn't ready yet! Don't you agree?" She paced back and forth in-front of me, waving her hands around like a mother telling her daughter 'boys are poison, stay home and study like a good girl'.
Sora is sitting on the couch, staring outside as if she yearns for socialization outside of these four walls. She turns and looks at me, a glint of hope in her eyes for a split second before her face goes blank.
"Sora? If you want to go, I'll take you." Sora's face lit up, a smile inching across it; her dimples were prominent and deeper than ever.
"What?! Byeong, let me talk to you for a second." Gwanghui grabbed my wrist and pulled me to their room.
"She isn't ready."
"If we don't give her the chance to get past it, she never will. We can't keep her trapped up in here."
"What if she sees a man and freaks out? What then?"
"Gwang, calm down. I'll be there for her. If she gets scared I'll bring her home. That's it. You're welcome to come along if you'd like."
Gwanghui wasn't happy with me. In a huff, she paced out the room and locked herself in the bathroom. Sora looks to me for an explanation as I walk out the room after her.
"Don't worry about it Sora. Put on a coat and some boots, it's freezing outside." The smile returned to her face as she skipped into her room to change.
With Sora gone for a minute, I try to talk to Gwanghui. Knocking on the door I don't get a response. "Gwanghui-"
"Byeong, just leave okay! Leave me alone." Her voice got smaller the longer she spoke, and I knew I should just leave it be.
"Okay, okay. We're gonna go okay?" Not getting a response, I back away from the door and wait for Sora.
After a while she came out in a puffy long winter coat that Bit hyung bought her last week and some fur boots. We went on our way, locking the door behind us.

I decided to drive so we wouldn't be walking in the cold. Parking along a busy Main Street, we get out to explore the small shops.
"This store right here has some nice shirts. We can get one if you want." Sora nodded in excitement, ready to explore every inch of the town. We bought a couple matching shirts, some earrings for Gwanghui, and two belts before leaving.
As we walked, we stopped in literally every store. Sora has lived with us for almost a year, and yet she has never even seen what was past the road outside our neighborhood until now. I know Gwanghui wants what's best for her, knowing what she's been through, but she needs to heal. She needs to be around others to get better; to know there's nothing to be afraid of; to know that I'm here for her.
We stopped to an ice cream shop and I bought us both strawberry cones. We decided to walk through a park before going home. We sat on a bench near an open area surrounded by people with children and pets so Sora wouldn't feel too anxious.
