"Last box done." I said as I finished packing for my move to California.

Now I just have to pack up my dog Oli's food and water bowls and I'm set for the trip to LA.

"Mom, Dad I'm ready to leave where are you?" I yelled and heard it echo throughout the house. "

Coming honey!" my mother yelled back.

As I heard foot steps coming down stairs I started to really notice how much I'm going to miss my parent's.

Yeah my dad is always busy with work and that's understandable, he is a lawyer.

And my mom would always pester me to go to the perfect college and have a successful job.

I snapped right out of my thoughts when i heard my mom say, "Honey are you sure you want to go to a collage all the way in California?"

"Mom you know that i already have this all planned to go to The California College of The Arts" I sighed.

"I was just making sure you didn't want to change your mind" my mom said.

Then I heard some more foot steps come down the stairs.

"Alex what am I going to do without you?" my father asked.

"Daddy I don't know but, hey I gotta head to the air port which one of you is taking me?" I asked.

"We both are." they said at the same time.

*skip car ride at the airport*

"You know I'm going to miss you so much, you're my baby." My mom said in between tears.

"I'll miss you too, but don't worry. I can still visit. You could even visit me and we could explore LA!" I said trying to cheer her up.

"Call me a lot, okay?"

"Of course I will. Once a week or even more." I promised.

"Flight 97 to Los Angeles California is now boarding, Flight 97 to Los Angeles California in now boarding." the announcer said over the speakers.

"Well I guess this is it for a while." I said with sadness in my voice knowing that i wont see my parents for a long time.

"I guess it is, bud." my dad said.

"Alex don't do anything that you'll regret and if you find someone, I need to meet him." my dad said being over protective.

"Daddy remember if i find someone he will be my prince but you'll always be my king." he smiled at the fact that i still have the kid side of me that always wanted to be a princess.

We all gave each other a group hug.

My mom still crying.

We all pulled away after a while.

"I love you mom, I love you dad. I'll see you soon." Remembering the fact to never say goodbye and to say see you soon.

As i walked to where my plane was boarding, I turned around to wave one last time at my parents.
