Flashback---
Unrecognized Timeline:

"The Prince shouldn't be here. Hurry!  Take the ship and leave this planet!"

"I'm afraid you're mistaken Minister, we can't protect the prince if he's not here."

"There's a chance that he will survive if he will leave. If he got killed here, our planet is over."

"Prince, go and let us handle this war. We will go after you if we have a chance."

No one's uttering any word. You will not hear any voice but they can understand each other, using their minds. They are communicating inside their heads.

As lasers and bombs fall like a rain in their planet, the Prince walked inside the circular metallic ship and took his way to escape.

No planned route. The ship is programmed to take the Prince to the safest planet.

Current Time:

Lj's POV

The hot August becomes the more humid September. The crowd is anxious and the media is unstoppable.

"Breaking News: There will be a meteor shower tomorrow, September 17, 2018 on exactly 12 midnight. Brace yourself to much hotter night and exciting view from above"

Woah. How I wish we have a chance to slouch and wait for that show like others.

While uncomfortably sitting on the sofa, I turned off the television and gaze my eyes carrying bags, to my laptop.

"Have news with Beah today?" Arnie settled herself beside me and put those bundle of books that she's holding on the mini glass table.

"Nah. I think she's already dead yet still breathing. Just think how that monster professor talks with pure sarcasm. It's like he has an issue with the three of us."

Without waisting our diamond time, we move our brain and hands to do our dissertation that is to be submitted three days from now.

It's already 11:47 pm, when the door clangs its keyholes and abruptly opened, while we are in the middle of our paper works.

"Woah. Beah my friend, hooray you're still alive." My mix tone of sleepy voice and sarcasm welcomes her.

"Yeah, I'd rather be dead." she responded and slammed herself on the remaining small space of the couch

"Shoot. What kind of hewwll-- did you experienced?" Arnie trying her best not to yawn but failed.

"We're doomed. Not just me. We are."

"Nothing's new."

"As expected" I commented like it is the most obvious thing in the world.

"No. This time it's not just a mere thesis paper. But we will find a certain flower medicine that is nowhere to be found!", She yelled with all of her frustration that helps us to gain our consciousness.

"WHAT?!"

"Yes my beloved best friends. Say goodbye to our career. Actually on my way here, I'm asking myself why did I chose to become a doctor?" She said monotonously and snatched my laptop from my hand and started searching.

"F*qq, there's no such thing!", her frustration is oozing on her reddish face and gave back my laptop.

Arnie made an annoying sound from her voice and bring out her cellphone.

"What is the name of the flower? ", she asks.

"AmonicaluctlictAcidicus on other term, L'Occaitaine"

We just stare at her for about fifteen minutes.

"Staring is rude you know. Here, L'Occaitaine  right? It's rare to have it in the Philippines but it states here that on the mountain called Daraitan, on Tanay, Rizal, this flower estimated blooms from September to January. It says that, the more cooler the climate is, the more this kind flower will bloom.", she said while showing her cellphone on our face.

"Yes! That's it! You're so brilliant muah!"

"Don't be too happy. It says, the more cooler the climate should be, kindly check the temperature outside. It's 41°C for heaven's sake.", Arnie ruining the happiness

Beah's smile suddenly fades.

"It doesn't matter. We will go there anyway. At least we should try. Tomorrow we will pack our things and have some camping there. For now, let's sleep. I think I'm dying.", I suggested and the first to move towards my room.

My alarm sounded off. Blinding rays of the sun strikes my uncovered windows. I lazily get up and prepared myself to our battle later.

I saw the two idiots having their breakfast in front of the television.
While walking towards them, my cellphone beeps with notification. I opened it and later on I regretted checking it.

"Hello Losers! How's our lives? Good morning and have a bad day!"
Raven and company posted their picture with a freaking caption on our high school's batch group chat.

Grrr... this group. I really hate them. They're so annoying and conceited and boastful and everything!

"Assholes!" I said out loud and the two cast their glances at me.

"Why? Raven and his annoying apprentices?" Arnie asks while sipping her coffee.

"Tsk. They're already professionals, they should act like one!", Beah also ranted.

"Exactly."

While I'm in a blazing fury, I suddenly felt unusual. It's cold.
I walked towards the window and move its cover.

"Oh what the f*qq"
I cursed to my surprised.

"Hey. What happened?", they ask because of my sudden cursing words.

"Guys, did the Philippines already crawled away from the equator and now located at the north pole? Kindly check it?", my voice is almost shuttered.

"What are you saying?", Beah asks with confusion.

I grabbed their hands and drag them outside.

"This is what I'm saying", I said while my jaws are already dropped.

"Oh my--pregnant cow."

"It's... snowing...?"

"It's snowing.... here in the Philippines. Does it make sense?"
