"And why does this matter?" Kai commented, a bit too loud for your liking.

"Kai," you warned under your breath, trying to avoiding casting an eye in his direction. Hurriedly, you tried to copy down the notes the professor had flashed on the projector, while nervously glancing around the lecture theatre to see if anyone had looked over at the obnoxious "new student".

"I'm serious. Wouldn't you prefer to get out of here and I can teach you a thing or two about reproductive biology?"

You shot him a stunned look, your jaw dropped. "Not the time, or the place!"

"Your loss babe," he shook his head, "I've been told I have the body of a greek God."

You snickered at his remark, not taking your eyes off of the projector. Kai placed a hand on your thigh and your heart began to speed up subconsciously.

"Nice to know I still have that effect on you after two years."

"The first year doesn't count. You were trying to kill me half the time."

"Eh, details," he dismissed, "you love me now and I love you. All the other stuff is in the past."

You nodded, finally turning to him, and just admired him. Sometimes, you couldn't fathom how lucky you got with Kai. He was bizarre, but your dream come true.
