Chapter 2: Unnecessary fights
*Prince/Rae*
“I liked the last one we interviewed.” Prince says getting frustrated.
“I didn’t she barely spoke a word of English.” Rae says, “I can’t understand that Spanish stuff.”
Prince eyeballs her, “Rae we’ve interviewed over 15 nannies.” Prince says looking at her in annoyance.
“I know baby, but I have to make sure my babies have the best possible nanny, I mean since we are the perfect parents they deserve the perfect nanny.” Rae says.
Prince is still a tad annoyed, but he nods his head in agreement, “How many more do we have left?” He grumbles.
“Just one more Mr. Grumpy pants.” Rae says teasing, Prince rolls his eyes.
“I’m hungry!” Prince complains, “We’ve been at this all day.”
“Does wittle Pwinceton want mommy to fix him a sandwich?” Rae asks in baby talk.
Prince just stares at her unsmiling, “Stop Rae.”
“Well you’re acting like a baby! So I’m going to treat you like one.” She says.
“Whatever.”
“You need to be on one of those snicker commercials, you know when the person who is hungry turns into a diva until they get something to eat.” Rae says laughing.
Prince laughs a little, but it quickly fades as the doorbell rings.
“Finally.” He says under his breath.
Rae opens the door to reveal a cute brown skinned woman with glasses and long dark hair tied tightly in a bun.
“Hi, I’m here for the nanny position.” She says sweetly, showing off her pearly white smile.
“Oh yes, come on in.” Rae says leading her into the house.
Rae and Prince take turns grilling the nanny and all her answers are perfect, Rae is really hitting it off with her.
“Excuse me please Mya, me and my husband are just going to discuss a few things in private.” Rae says as she and Prince head into the kitchen to talk it over.
“I really like her Prince, she’s perfect.” Rae says smiling gleefully.
“A little too perfect don’t you think this girl doesn’t have one single flaw.”
“We said we wanted perfect right?”
“Yeah, but I don’t know about her.” He says honestly.
“Prince, I like her. I really like her!” Rae says excitedly.
“Okay babe, if you like her I guess it’s whatever you want. If you feel comfortable enough with her.”
Rae smiles, “I knew you’d see things my way, you get an extra round tonight.” She says kissing his lips lightly.
Mya is in the other room eavesdropping and snooping around their house. She looks at Prince and Rae’s wedding photo.
Dang he’s fine, someone that fine deserves to be with me.
She thinks picking the photo up and covering Rae’s side of the picture up she smiles. She hears Prince and Rae coming back into the room so she quickly takes her seat back on the chair and puts on her fake, perfect smiles.
“You have the job, you start tomorrow. Six am bright an early.” Rae says.
Mya smiles, “That’s excellent thank you two so much. See you bright and early,” She says smiling, little do Prince and Rae know she has other things in mind.
