Chapter 4: Going/Staying
*Prince/Rae*
“Babe its time to leave for our flight! Hurry up…” Prince yells from downstairs.
“I’m coming!” Rae says trying to make sure she has everything they’re going to be on tour for 3 months and she doesn’t want to leave a single thing. Mya is feeding baby Jacob, while Jesiah is asleep in his car seat.
“AHHHH!” Rae screams loudly.
Prince rushes up the stairs, “What is it babe?” He asks worriedly.
“My wedding ring, its gone?” Rae says panicking.
“Where did you have it last?”
“It was right here on the nightstand where I always leave it when I got to bed. I always take it off before I go to bed, and put it back on in the morning.” Rae yells.
Prince pats her shoulder, “Babe calm down…”
“No! I want my wedding ring. That was the one you gave to me when you proposed to me in the snow on Christmas morning, that ring means so much to me.” Rae starts to cry, Prince holds her in his arms.
“Rae, I know how much that ring means to you… I do, but as long as you have the memory it’ll be fine. I’ll get a new one and we’ll make a new memory with it.” Prince reassures.
“I never lose my jewelry you give me Prince! I’m usually so good at keeping up with things, I’m just so disappointed but you’re right we’ll just make new memories.”
Prince holds her hand tightly leading her downstairs.
“Prince are you sure I have everything?” Rae asks.
Prince rolls his eyes, “Babe, you have everything. If it was up to you we would have packed the house with us. Trust me everything is going to be fine; whatever we don’t have we’ll just buy.” He says.
Rae goes over to Mya who’s holding Jacob, “I’ll take him off your hands now Mya.” She says.
Mya acts as if she doesn’t want to let go, but she hands him over to Rae, and Prince gets Jesiah.
“You ready to see the world baby?” Prince asks kissing Rae’s cheek.
“Ready as I’ll ever be, this is going to be a great trip. I can’t wait to make new memories with you.” Rae kisses him roughly on the lips.
“You keep that up and we’ll have to go back upstairs.” Prince says as the head out the door.
Mya smiles evilly to herself, because she was the one who took Rae’s wedding ring, and she’s going to make the tour a living hell for Rae and Prince.
*Roc/SiSi*
SiSi is sitting on the edge of the bed thinking. It‘s the day that he‘s supposed to leave for the tour, and he‘s made it up in his mind that he‘s not going without her.
“I love you…” Roc says, “Nothing you do will stop me from loving you. No matter how hard you push I will still be here. And when I come back I’m going to show you that our love is still strong and no one can come in-between us.”
SiSi just stares at him, he’s starting to break through her icy exterior. “I’ll believe it when I see it. Try not to bonk any girls while you’re on tour okay?” She says.
“You’re the only one that’s going to be on my mind until I come back home.”
SiSi can feel herself starting to give in to him, she desperately tries to cling to her hard shell, “And try not to get anyone else pregnant.” She says.
