The Undead Hero: Deku!! (OLD DRAFT, NEW ON MY ACCOUNT)

I woke up in a hospital room, with someone holding my hand. Little known fact, I could tell it was Kacchan because he smelled like slightly burnt caramel, nitroglycerin.

The bright white lights burnt my eyes a bit when I opened them. A sight I didn't expect to see was Kacchan crying.

"I'm so sorry Izuku." He looked me in the eyes. "How can I be a hero when I tell someone to kill themselves?" He broke down, sobbing. "Why did I start doing this to you? We used to be best friends for fucks sake! I'm so sorry I did this to you, you don't deserve this."

"Kacchan, this wasn't because of you." I whispered. He looked at me with confusion in his eyes. "You know my Dad died recently, and you know I got bullied. You were the least of my worries. Yeah, you bullied me, but you didn't want others to bully me. Kacchan you actually helped me through a lot."

Kacchan was about to respond when a doctor through the door.

"Ah, Midoriya. You're awake, if you may Bakugo, leave so I can talk to Midoriya alone." Kacchan nodded sadly before leaving. The doctor sat beside me.

"So Midoriya, this may be touchy but, why did you jump off a building?" I felt like I needed to cry, but nothing came.

"I've going through some stuff. My father passing away, being bullied, me being quirkless practically crushed my dreams with no mercy... life hasn't been kind." I explained.

"Well you don't have to be sad about being quirkless anymore." The doctor said point blank.

"What do you mean by that?" I squeaked out.

"You should read this." He handed me a piece of paper.

Izuku Midoriya
Quirk: Zombie
This allows the user to come back to life after an unnatural death. After 'death' user has superhuman strength, extreme regeneration of injuries, sickness etc., an extreme boost in brain function such as stronger analytical thinking, memory, observation skills, and no longer needs to breathe, has a heartbeat, and feel pain.

Some side effects of the quirk is the user smelling vaguely of death, and when relaxed has slower reflexes.

Main draw back of the quirk is needing to eat human flesh, and/or blood to keep from slowly rotting away.

Over use of this quirk or elongated period of not eating flesh or blood can cause 'ramaro' mode. Where user will lose some control of themselves and go on a rampage.

"Human flesh?" I shook out.

"Since laws were changed when quirks came about, there is a rule where anyone with a quirk where they need certain things to survive, like needing human flesh, the government will help that person with their predicament free of charge." He paused. "So we can help you with that."

"How do you know all this about uh t this quirk?" I was curious.

"I'm not sure you know this since he passed away before you were born, your grandfather on your dad's side had this same quirk. And we took many notes on it since it was so unique." A small knock came from the door. "That must be your mother, I'll talk to you later."

As he left my Mom ran up to me and hugged me tight. I hugged her back.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about your quirk Izuku. I just couldn't stand the thought of my little boy dying to try to get a quirk." She cried.

"Mom, it's fine. I'm fine."

I was discharged from the hospital later that day. When I got home, I went into my room, and started looking up pre-quirk zombie movies.

On my nightstand was a brand new smart phone with a note.

I hope this kind of makes up for some of the shitty things I've done

IzukuMidoriya: hey kacchan can you come over? i want to watch some movies

KingExplotionMurrder: really? i mean sure why not. I'll be there in 5

I smiled to myself. Hmm, what to watch.
