Lance was walking up to his front porch, grabbing his house key out from his bag. He put the key in the lock and spun it, unlocking his door. He stepped inside and took his shoes off.
He went upstairs throwing his backpack on his bed and jumping after it.
"I'm finally free." He sighed, getting back on his feet. He took off his jacket, hung it up, and grabbed his laptop off his desk.
He went downstairs to the kitchen, placing his laptop on the counter playing Netflix.
This was usually what Lance did when he got home, due to the fact his mother was at work and his father was back in Cuba dealing with business for a few months.
Lance was rummaging through his fridge and pantry trying to find snacks. "We have no damn food in this house." He said shutting the fridge and sitting on the ground.
After about five minutes of him moping on the ground, he got up and and went over to his computer pausing his show and shutting it. Not even a second after, Lance's phone lit up with a ding following. He looked down at his screen to see a message from Hunk.
Hunky Monkey: hey buddy! pidge and I are going to the ice cream shop in ten minutes. If you want to come we can stop by your house to pick you up?
Lance: yeah sure!
Lance was pretty grateful he was getting to go out, and that he was getting food. Lance has a few minutes before they got there, so he decided to go rummage his room for money.
Lance walked into his room looking in every drawer, every crack and crevice, and his wallet. "Shit I'm broke as hell, I'm going to need to babysit more." He groaned, holding up only a five dollar bill.
He received a text from Hunk saying he was outside and to hurry up. Lance quickly grabbed his phone and put on his shoes.
"There he is." Pidge pointed at the front door of Lance's house as he stepped out the door, locking it behind him. "Hey guys." He ran over to them and they started walking.

Lance was looking at all the ice cream flavours when he decided on double stuffed brownie. Lance was a sucker for anything to do with chocolate. He ordered and handed the lady the money. He received his change and his ice cream, replying with a simple "thank you," and "have a good day".
He sat down across from junk and pidge who were currently putting ice cream on each other's noses. "You guys are so childish." He chuckled, smiling at his friends. "Not we're not. We just have fun spirits." Hunk said crossing his arms with a grin.
"Well of course, or else we wouldn't be friends. It's hard work putting up with Lance." Pidge laughed receiving a glare from Lance, which she just pushed off because it's not like he was going to do anything anyways.
The three were just finishing up and walking out of the shop, when Lance saw the boy from earlier. He was all alone and walking past the ice cream shop. The boy turned causing him and Lance to make eye contact. Lance got goosebumps up his arms.
The boy looked away fast and walked off. Lance wanted to talk to him. He ran off earlier and he wasn't going to let him run off again.
"I'll be right back you guys. You go in ahead. I'll catch up." The two nodded and Lance ran in the boy's direction.
"Hey!" Lance yelled running up to him which caused the boy the freeze. He turned around and looked down. "You're the boy from earlier. You kind of ran off after you flipped out on me for nothing." Lance said trying to regain the boy's memory as if he had lost it.
"So?" He spoke up and Lance definitely wasn't expecting him to speak. Lance cleared his throat. "Sooo, what if we have a do over?" The boy scoffed and turned around when Lance grabbed him arm, making him jump. "Uh no thanks." He started walking again, but of course Lance followed.
"Come on! I helped you out, you got mad at me. You ignored me when I tried taking to you. That's not a good first impression." Lance kept blabbering on until the guy stopped and looked him dead in the eyes.
"Like I said, no thanks. I'd rather not." Lance smiled, getting a weird look from the boy. "Too bad."
"I'm Lance." He put out his hand and waited for the boy to shake it. He stood there and stared at it. "This is the part where you shake my hand and tell me your name." Lance signalled to his hand.
The boy looked down at his hand, then back up at Lance's. "Where are you even so worried about talking to me?" The boy's face softened for once not looking like he wanted to kill him. "I don't know. I just like making friends. And you seem like you'd be a good one if you didn't not talk." Lance smiled, but then the boy's face went back to mean.
"I don't want to be your friend. I'm fine on my own." He rolled his eyes. Lance was so confused on why he didn't want to talk to him. But what confused Lance most is that he himself was so desperate to know this boy better.
"How about acquaintances?" This caught the boy's attention again and he sighed. "Fine but I'm not shaking your stupid hand." Lance smiled and nodded his head. "Okay! Now tell me your name." The boy looked up and his eyebrows lifted.
"My what?" He sarcastically laughed. "Your name." Lance simply replied. The boy threw this head back. "Keith." He whispered almost quiet enough that Lance couldn't hear, but he did. "Keith? Nice. Never met someone named Keith before." He snapped his fingers. "Oh, you remember my name right? I literally told you like thirty seconds ago." "Yeah I remember."
Lance smiled to himself and waved to the boy. "Well okay then. Bye, see you at school!" Keith turned around and walked away not saying a word.

Lance walked into his room after eating dinner. He took his shirt off, and put on pyjama pants. It was around 9:00 currently and he was getting tired. He went into his bathroom and brushed his teeth. He moisturized his face and washed it.
He turned off his light and went to his bed. He plugged in his phone and closed his eyes laying down.
