The river

The rest of the day went great. Maura kept sending me cute awkward smiles during class. Softball practice was nothing but batting cages and getting to know the team. Maura had to do some pitching drills and she looked great out there. She was wearing black nike shorts and a school shirt that fit perfect on her. Her hair was thrown back into a neat ponytail with a ribbon that matched her shirt. I missed a few pitches at practice because I couldn't take my eyes off of her and she knew it. After practice we went to our last class which was study hall. I sat there across from Maura while she was studying her history notes. She looked up at me and smiled, then tore a piece of paper out if her notebook and wrote a quick note down then slid it across the table. 'Wanna get out of here?'
'Uh yes please!' I wrote back.
'Okay, go ask to go to the bathroom. I'll meet you at my truck'
'Okay :)' I gave her as I got up to ask the teacher if I could go. She nodded and didn't even look up.
I walked out to the truck to wait for Maura. She came wailking out of the building a few minutes later. She unlocked the truck and then got in. I slide into the passenger side and asked "where are we going now?"
"It's a surprise!" She replied
I nodded knowing she wasn't going to tell me.

She drove out of town and hit a dirt road. She pulled up to a river bank and got out. She opened my door as I jumped out she grinned and grabbed my hand.
"Jane, this is my favorite place to come and relax. We are completely alone. My parents own this land and no one comes up here anymore." Before I could reply she pulled me closer to her. "I've been waiting all day to take you here." She was shorter than me by a few inches. She looked up at me with a smile on her face. I let go of her hand and slid my hands up her sides. I leaned down to kiss her. It started off slow and then turned passionate quick. She pulled me down as she sat on the dock. As she pulled me into her lap. We made out for 30 minutes before she pulled away. "We have dinner plans tonight." She smiled
"What?" I questioned
"We have a softball dinner tonight at BBQ Johnny's."
"Oh okay, but do we have to stop kissing now?" I questioned with pleading eyes
"Yes. We have to get changed. You can wear one of my mustang shirts tonight since you don't have any yet." She laughed
"If you say so." I pouted as I stood up. I helped her up and pecked her on the cheek. Then a bunch of little kisses on her jaw line until I got to her lips, where I gave her a quick peck then walked to her truck. She got in and we drove off. She held my hand until we pulled into her driveway. We got out and walked to her front door.
