Chapter 6: It's good to be back.

"MJ?" You said looking up. She walked over and sat down next to you as you wiped away your tears.

"I thought I heard someone crying...what happened?"

MJ was like one of your girl best friends that could relate and understand you. She knew what was going on with you and Peter and low-key shipped you both.

"I...I got rejected...b-by P-Peter."You said choking on your tears.

"What?! What happened? What did he say?! You know what IM GONNA KILL HIM-"

"No MJ it's okay. Last night, believe it or not, Spider-Man told me I should open up my feelings to whoever I liked and that I wouldn't be rejected because I was amazing...I believed him and even dressed up nice for him. I guess it wasn't meant to be."

"Oh y/n you are the most amazing girl at midtown. You slay my life everyday and you don't even know it. HECK YOU GOT TO TALK TO FRIGGIN SPIDER-MAN THATS EVERY GIRLS DREAM! Peter is just being a jerk, and if you ever need me just let me know." She said with a reassuring smile as she brought me in for a hug.

"Thank you Michelle. You're such an amazing friend I don't know what I would do without you." I said.

*skip to after school*

The bell rang and you finally could leave and be free. As you were walking home you got a text from Tony Stark:

Tony: Please come to the Avengers tower. Nat is here and we want to try out your new suit.

You: No way! I get my suit today? Ah yay! On my way right now Mr.Stark.

You tucked your phone in your back pocket and ran to the avengers tower. It wasn't far from where you were so the run was about 5 minutes long. You got to the main entrance and took the elevator up to the 2nd Floor. The bell dinged and the doors pushed back as I walked out.

"Y/n! Are you ready to try on the new suit?" Tony said looking back at you.

"Oh my god of course I've never been more excited!" You said jumping up and down while letting your inner 6 year old self out.

"Here it is." Tony said stepping aside from where he was standing. In front of you was a glass case with a suit just like Natasha's, but it was white and had a white mask to go with it. The mask had narrow eyes with lenses that could move and the edges were white and black.

"Oh my god. It's like my old one but with a major upgrade! AHHHHH THANK YOU MR.STARK OMG OMG!" You said screaming as you took the suit out of the glass case to go try it on.

"Come back so then you can train with your sister and hurry too. She's already waiting in the training room." Tony called out.

You went inside Nat's room to get dressed. You slipped on the suit and pulled the zipper up to your chest. Then you put on the mask and you got startled by a guy speaking into the suit.

"Good evening y/n. Congrats on coming back to being an avenger." The voice said.

"Erm...thanks. Who are you?" You said with confusion.

"I help you get to where you need to be and I help you with all the details in your suit."

"Oh! Thanks! Do you have a name?"

"No, but you can make me one." He said.

"Oh hmmm how about...Kevin?" You said.

"I like that name! Now where would you like to take me tonight?" He said while you saw a 3-D version of locations to go in front of you.

"Nowhere for now. All I need to do is train with Nat and call it a night. I'm not sure when I fully start yet." You said.

"That's okay. It's good to start slow." He said.

"Yup! Now let's go see if Mr.Stark is impressed." You said with joy as you walked out of Nat's room and into the training room.

"Y/n that suit looks amazing! After you train with Nat she will tell you if you're ready to go out tomorrow or not." Tony said.

"Alright Mr.Stark. See you in a bit." You said as you walked through the doors to find Nat working on her moves.

"Y/n you look amazing! I'm so excited to train with you this is gonna be so much fun!"

"Me too! So what's first?"

"Well we are gonna go over some drills and then spar." She said putting her phone down and playing upbeat music.

"First we are gonna do three sets of 10 jumping jacks and 5 push ups, and then run suicides across the room." She said.

"Oh my god I'm not gonna have any energy holy crap." You said as you were doing the first set of jumping jacks.

By the time you finished the three sets and suicides back and fourth you chugged your water and laid down on the floor sweating like crazy. You took of your mask and took a whiff of the fresh air.

"Nat, why do we have to have our suits on during training? I could seriously switch out for some yoga pants and a tank top instead of a tight suit." You said struggling to take your boots off.

"If we don't you won't get used to being in your suit and it will make you vulnerable. You need to get used to moving in it and other important things too. Now get back up we need to spar." She said.

"Okay Ill take your word for it." You said getting up and putting your boots and your mask back on and ready to spar.

"Shake hands with your partner." she said. You both shook hands and got into a fighting stance. "Ready...get set...go." She said as she threw a punch at you but you held her hand to block it, and then you twisted it, causing her fall back making her land on the floor. She got back up and ran towards you but you flew up before she could reach you and used your freeze breath to get her stuck.

"No fair!!" She whined trying to get out. You used your heat breath to unfreeze her and you front kicked her in the waist and pinned her down with your arm. You then used an armbar on her and waited for her to tap out.

"Okay okay TAP TAP TAP." She screamed as you flung off her. She gasped when she saw a purple bruise on her arm.

"Nat I'm so sorry! I didn't mean that!"

"It's okay, Y/n. I think you're ready to start tomorrow but for now please get me some ice." She said.

"Yay! Thank you Nat! And will do!" You said as you ran to the fridge and put some ice in a ziplock bag. You ran back to the training room and set the ice on her arm. You texted Tony:

You: Mr. Stark I'm ready to start tomorrow!

Tony: Okay y/n. Roam the city looking for danger but don't do anything you shouldn't do. Goodnight.

You: Will do and good night Mr.Stark.

You and Nat packed up and you said goodbye because she unfortunately had to stay at the tower cause she is going on a mission tomorrow with Steve (Captain America) and Wanda (Scarlet Witch). You ran back home with the suit in your suit case and searched for your keys in your back pocket. You opened the door and looked around for your parents but instead you found a note saying:

'Hey y/n, food is in the fridge and we will be gone for the week going on vacation. We will be back Saturday. Love you and text us when you can! -mom and dad.'

You put the note on the side and went into your room. You checked your phone and you had 35 unread messages from Peter Parker 💞.

You didn't want to see what he had to say so instead you left him on read and decided to call it a night.
