My heart dropped when I turned to see Peter at the carnival with Liz, trying to win her a teddy bear.

I guess he was right when he said he didn't like me after all.

"Y/n? You okay?" Brandon asked from behind me. I snapped out of it and turned back around facing Brandon.

"Y-Yeah I'm alright. What were you saying?" I asked him while watching Liz and Peter in the corner of my eye.

"W-well I was saying if you wanted to go on another date? M-Maybe? Like dinner?" He asked as he turned a light shade of pink.

I didn't like Brandon, I was still in love with Peter. This might sound bad, but maybe if I hung out more with Brandon and went on more 'dates', Peter would be jealous and maybe then he'd realize his true feelings for me.

"Of course, Brandon. I would love to." I said smiling sweetly as I looked over once more to see Peter looking back at us for the first time. I leaned in and kissed Brandon on the cheek, smirking as I watched Peter's jaw drop to the floor.

"We should get going, it's getting late." I said looking at the time on my phone.

"Yeah, of course!" Brandon said. We both walked back to my house since it was five minutes away and I took out my keys when I got to my front door step.

"Thank you for taking me tonight, Brandon." I said smiling.

"Anytime y/n. I'll see you Friday for dinner." Brandon said before he walked away, waving. I watched him hit the corner before I sprinted down the street into the same old alleyway I always go to change. Just because it's 8:30 pm doesn't mean I can't do my favorite daily patrol.

I took my pants and shirt off leaving me in my sports bra and underwear. I threw my suit on over my body and hid my clothes behind the trashcan into the secured box I built a long time ago.

I put my hair back into a ponytail and threw my mask on over my head before I flew out of the alleyway and on top of a building.

I was scanning the city before I heard a thwip sound from behind me, knowing it was my partner in crime, Spider-Man.

"Hey Spidey. What brings you here?" I asked as I turned around to see him but..with a rose in his hand?

"White Widow, I know we've been partners for quite a while, and I...I have something to tell you." He said as he walked closer to me.

"I...I really like you." He said handing me the rose. I held it in my hand and looked back up and him.

"You might not like me back and all and I understand, but your personality makes me really happy and I love fighting crime by your side everyday."

Before I could say anything my eyes widened in shock as Spider-Man started to take off his mask. To my horror, there stood the familiar chocolate brown puppy eyes and curly brown locks that belonged to my best friend, Peter Parker.
