~ Luna's P.O.V~

I flopped on the couch and grabbed the remote. I took out my snacks. I was planning to have a little movie night since I want to treat myself! I pressed the button. The tv screen lit to life. Surffing through the channels, looking for anything interesting, my mother skimmed past the newspapers my dad use to read.

I continue to munch on my Cheetos. Suddenly I stopped on a news channel. I don't know why? I decided to listen. Hunching forward, I listened.

" Wolves in New York City?!

Yesterday at 1: 02 A.M, three human-sized wolves have been spotted in the forests of New York! These wolves are said to be coloured white with one of them black. They were spotted by a passing tourist taking an early in the morning stroll-

Currently, the Animal Protection Agency of New York City is investigating the taken video and the forest. Looking for these beasts. They speculated this can be a new species of abnormally large wolves! So.. Werewolves do really exist huh?"

My wolf ears twitch in anticipation. Groaning in disappointment when the news reporter didn't say any more details. I shut the t.v off. Walking back to my room and laying on the bed. I glance at my phone. Hoping for someone to call me or some kind of notification popping up that isn't some pizza advertisement-

I sigh, I look out the balcony into the beautiful city. The moon full and covered by clouds and stars adorning around it. The view is beautiful... Problem is the pollution and noise. Oh gosh, the noise...

Honking, screaming, shouting, vehicles stopping and going. The typical every day and night. I guess I've gotten used to it...

I crawled to my phone, reaching for it. Searching through my contact list and seeing Megan and the new girl, Mikette, online. I decided to give them a ring.

.....

"Hello?"

"Megan!"

" Luna! What do y-you need?"

" So you know I'm a wolf right?"

" Wait- what?"

I forgot Mikette was in the call... Oops-

" She's a part of the wolf clans here in NYC- She was kidnapped from her home and ended up here in the city!"

" So those wolf clans are true? THEN THERE ARE HUMAN SIZED WOLVES?!"

" D-Don't be afraid! And please don't tell anyone-"

" Heh well, I have a hairpin that turns into a bird so I'm used on having weird stuff going on-"

" Yup, I watched the news!"

" Hmm, should we tell the others about this?"

" Kitty would be a great help on tracking these wolves, Maya can also help us in defence- I-uhh..... Who else?"

" Are you girls seriously thinking on chasing those things?"

" Why not? I mean I can go home and meet my family again!"

" Let me give a reason: The Animal Protection Agency of New York City-"

" We could sneak around them!"

" Alright, but will our parents allow us?"

" Probably not-"

" I can go by myself- After all, I want to do it"

" Nuh-uh! We'll come!"

" B-but what about the reasons you just-"

" Hush! Now when do we go?"

" Let's contact the others tomorrow at the park-"

" Sounds great! So at nine?"

" Nine sounds good!"

" Mhm! See you there!"

I end the call and toss my phone to the corner of my bed. Laying on my back, I stare at the white ceiling, catching myself thinking.

" Hopefully... I could see them again... Will they even remember me?" I sigh, glancing at the time. Getting up then walking to the bathroom.

" It'd be nice though.."
