~Maya's P.O.V~

I'm in my room, sitting on my bed. Holding a special locket in my hand, given by my Mother and sisters..

I sighed sadly as reminisced them.

I reach for a white clean cloth and cleaned it, wiping it slowly..

It's gold colour shinning as the light reflects from it.. Little carvings swirls and circles could be seen.
It's now a little rusty from how old it was, but I dont think it's ugly!

My Mother and Father gave this to me as a gift for my birthday.. and now their gone, I always hold the locket to remember my old home and life.

I haven't open my locket since I got it. But today is the day I'm gonna open it..

I took a deep breath then pinched the side, unlocking it..

Inside is a picture of me, my sisters, parents and other people I dont recognize.. I took out the small photo and a small note slipped out.

Tears fell from my eyes in drops, then streams, and finally in rivers..
I feel them wetting the photo and letter.

But I dont care

I clench my fists, accidentally crumpling the little note.

Is it still a note?

" Mom- *sobs* I-I'M SORRY!!!"

I shouted, covering my face with the pillow. Coughing, sobbing, crying... I felt like I've been doing this for hours-

I'm just sad.. Hurt..
Hurt like my heart's been stabbed!

I look at my locker and hold it against my chest, it felt like my broken and barely beating heart- HEALED!

I embrace the warm, fuzzy feeling as I wipe my tears away..

As my dad would say: " Wipe your tears and get up!"

I laugh, remembering crying after he said that to me so harshly.. But now.. I think that made me smile...

" I will... I will continue living, I will do anything! For you~"
