Melody and Lyric talk over the next few hours, enjoying every exciting detail of Lyric's journey to Earth.
"Thank You, for finding a way to come with me. If you weren't here when I had awoke, I would be scared to life," says Melody sincerely.
"Oh please, when Reaper told me that you had to go alone, I was about to start screaming, but I am glad that you are awake now."
"I am too it feels like I've missed so much, yet so little. If you can understand that."
"I think I have an idea of what you mean."
The nurse walks in and says, "Lyric, Melody needs her rest, you can come back tomorrow."
"Can we just have a few more minutes?" Says Melody leaning in a bit closer to the large nurse.
"Five more minutes."
The nurse walk out, her tiny white heals clicking down the hall.
"Sir, yes sir", says Lyric saluting towards the doorway.
The both give a small giggle at Lyric's remark.
"Sis, I should get going. You need your rest", says Lyric, getting up and hugging Melody.
"Okay, fine", she says back=, kissing her sisters cheek.
"I love you."
"Love you too, Lyric."
Lyric walks out the door, into the hallway, and to the elevator. When she steps inside, she sees a rather familiar face beside her.
"Tenor? She says, turning towards the only other person in the small elevator.
"Yes", he says turning to her and pulling roses out from behind his back.
Lyric pulls him in for a tight hug. "How did you get here?"
"I am only going to be here for a day. Reaper agreed to watch Octavia for me."
"And the ancestors let you?"
"They said that they saw a spark in my eyes when I spoke of you", he said, taking a large breath, "I thought of you every day."
"I thought of you as well."
They shared a kiss that seemed somewhat magical.
"Well, you can't go to the city wearing you emerald armor", says Lyric snapping her fingers, as a baggy t-shirt, skinny jeans, and black Converse replaced his shining armor.
"Why, thank you my lady", he said playfully, bowing.
"You're welcome kind sir", she said, returning his bow with a small curtsey.
"I missed you."
"As did I. Okay, so do you want to go exploring?"
"Sure, as long as it's with you."
"Okay, let's go find my truck."
And off they went, enjoying the surprising day, doing countless activities and going on wonderful quests. Finally, as the sun started to set and the pair grew tired, they parted ways. Tenor going back to Octavia and Lyric, or should I say Summer, going back to the apartment.
As Lyric walks inside the apartment and shuts the door, all of a sudden she hears a loud "THUD!!" She quickly turns around only to see nothing.
"Who's there? She calls out to the empty living room.
"Who is there?!" she repeats again, only louder this time, "I am warning you, you have until the count of three. 1..2.."
All of a sudden, Tenor jumps out from behind the corner.
