ENGAGEMENT

Shravan

(Shravan was tossing around in his bed, he was unable to sleep today, and the bright smile on his face was not living him at all.)

I still couldn't believe she said yes to marry me, she also felt the same which I used to feel for her.

Still I couldn't believe Naira and I are going to marry each other and after three days I'm getting engage, no..no.
We are getting engaged.

Naira

She was walking to and fro in her night dress, thinking very deeply about something.
And all her movement were observed by her mother.

Naira's mother (NM): what r u thinking? Don't u want to sleep?

Naira: Here I'm so tensed , and u want to sleep, really . She replied in annoyance.

NM: what r u thinking?

Naira: really u r asking me., what the hell  I'm thinking, don't u....(suddenly she realised that she was just going to say something and she stopped.)

I'm feeling sleepy, good night maa. And saying this she slumped into her bed and her mother left her alone , not before giving her a confused look.

Engagement day.

There was a rush in the Tiwari Killa since week, inspite of it being just a family get together and engagement.

As it was the engagement of one and only one Naira the only princess of Bade mamaji.

The Killa was not looking any less beautiful and the queen has purchased three pairs of dresses , while she needed only one for the event, but what to do.

On the other hand , Aman, Preeti ,Suman and even little Dabu was kept on toe for all the arrangements, which needed to be according to the levels of Malhotras.

And same situation was there on the side of Malhotras too.
Nirmala wanted everything to be perfect for her beloved son.

Finally in the late evening hours every preparation was done and all went to get ready.

Shravan's room.

Shravan was getting ready in his sherwani for the engagement and smile was not at all leaving him.

Just then the door flung open and a bouncing Pushkar came in and his mouth wide open.
Bhai.. man do u even know if should be prohibited from walking freely.

Shravan have him confused look.

Mera matlab hai, simple formal mein hi , ladkiya aapke poche ghoomti hai and today I in this sherwani that also with this killer smile not less than a Greek god.

If I were a girl I would have been definitely in your arms unconscious , because unable to digest this hotness.

Saying this he moved towards him with open arms for hugging him.
But he bumped into the mirror instead as Shravan moved aside.

Man, I really doubt your gender now. Shravan said him teasingly.

Don't doubt I'm jealous of u. He replied mockingly.

Really?

Ya, people find me cute and not hot.

Just then Nirmala came .

So, my son is ready. Come lets go.

Tiwari Killa

As all the members went to get ready after completing their part of work.
Suman went with Preeti as it was going to be late for all this preparation.and all she had brought her clothes here only.

As soon as she entered the room she slumped  into the bed and closed her eyes ,exhausted from the day.

Then after Preeti got ready she dragged herself to change as make up and hairstyles were never her style so even after getting ready she was looking same just with the change of  dress.

On the other side Naira was all ready in her peach lehenga waiting for the Malhotras.

Finally all the Malhotras were there .
Many welcomed every one.

Than Pandit ji too arrived and all the rituals of the engagement started.

After some shloak recitation , he told them to exchange rings.

For Shravan it was a platinum band with intricate design and for Naira it was a 12 cut diamond ring .

First Naira took his hand and placed the ring in his finger. And everybody cheered and then Shravan also did the same.
Everybody cheered for him too, and than seeing the cheering crowd around them, his eyes met the other beautiful pair of eyes behind the frames.

Meeting the gaze she mouthed congratulations to him, and he gave her a thankyou smile.
 

And with that little celebration and dinner the night went on.

Hi, I'm really sorry for this so much late update but I was quite busy working to get the admission in medicine, but to my luck it didn't happen. No problem I'm good with the current one
