Timeloop // pjm

Description

Park Jimin was walking along the highway, watching the vehicles pass at the minute of 8.55 a.m, when he saw a young lady standing right smack in the middle of the highway, facing the oncoming traffic.

Even though he knew she would not hear him, he instinctively called out to her. He really didn't want to watch some crazy woman commit suicide at the time.

"Hey, what the hell are you doing? Get off the highway!"

He looked at her, waiting for her next move.

But to his ultimate shock, her head snapped towards his direction revealing her wide eyes.

"W-What?"

It was Jimin's turn for his eyes to go wide.

Overcomed with confusion and shock, he didn't even realize the woman crossing the highway (with cars passing right through her) before she was standing in front of him.

"You, saw me?"

"You heard me?"

Plot

Kang Hara has been stuck in a timeloop for what seems like two hundred years. It was extremely hard to count. She had been stuck ever since the year 2015, when she was nineteen. The loop repeated from the 15th of May, from 6.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. She never aged or changed in any way ever since then. When the clock striked 12, it would go dark and reset back to 6.30 a.m. sharp. Hara was invisible. And so she couldn't do or change anything to help her get out of the timeloop. The only place where Hara could move things was her home. But whatever she moved, ate, dirtied and such would also reset at 6.30. Hara had no idea how it happened, what to do, how to get out of this curse and specifically how long more she would be trapped. Was it for eternity? But one day, when Hara came out to see the accident that would take place on a highway at 9.00, somthing out of her routine happened. A man was shouting in her direction, telling her to get off the road. Which of course, she wouldn't even get hit, but no one was supposed to see her. No one could see her. Why could he? After overcoming overwhelming shock of her presence being actually aknowledged for the first time in more than a hundred years, she finds out that he is stuck in a timeloop as well, but from 9.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. His name was Park Jimin and he had been stuck for about half of her time. Jimin happened to be exploring a new place, which was where he bumped into her. After meeting, the two work together to try to figure out some way to get out of the loop, and to find out if there are others out there stuck on the May 15 loop.

- so yes, this is more of an adventure plus romance kind of thing, idk the genre for this sorry, and its suitable for a pretty long storyline too.

- but since I'm a romance sucker, I imagined that they liked each other, maybe a soulmate au? Maybe they got out of the loop and eventhough they couldn't remember they met each other again, that cringey but heart-fluttering shit.

- I imagined that they were stuck in the time loop because they were all linked in some way to something (up to you why), meaning they did meet other people at different places, with different time loops, so maybe Hara could meet some people that Jimin couldn't because they didn't have a corresponding time, and vice versa. They went to different areas. So that means, when the time resets, it doesn't mean that they will go back to their first hour, they will remain where they are but everything else resets. You could alter the logic like that.

- It's near to impossible to count the days of how long they have been there, because if you try to write it down somewhere, or even on yourself, it will disappear when the next loop starts.

- Maaybe there's some person or monster thingy that trapped them for some purpose, and they were made invisible and stuff so that they could not meddle with time or anything of the sort that could play matters into their own hands.

- Suggested endings: they do get out and you know, soulmate au shit OR they don't but Jimin and Hara are happy together forever literally, maybe their time became longer and corresponded longer?

- OR (heres a complicated one), they get out, and they remember everything, but when they get out, they land in a time before 15th May 2015, so they get stuck again. And you can basically make it a loop with another loop in it, Hara is stuck for another two hundred years, gets out, and the cycle continues. Or maybe it is not a cycle and she just decides to kill herself. Yep. Hope you understood that lmao
