When we got into her moms car the smell of smoke filled my lungs
I got on my phone and texted (y/n)
Me- Does your mom smoke?
(y/n)- No... I think it was Josiah, when I hugged him I could smell it.
I read the message and shrugged
I put my arm around (y/n)'s neck
"So Jack, whens the next event?" Her mom asked
Honestly I didn't even bother to remember her name because (y/n) didn't like talking about her
"This weekend." I said remembering that it was Monday
"Oh cool where are you going?" Josiah said
"Oklahoma." I said
"Are you going?" Her mom asked while glancing at her
"Yeah, can you turn the radio up please?" She said
I could tell she just wanted this day to end
Me- I totally forgot your moms name, what is it?
(y/n)- I honestly don't know...
I laughed a little

When we finally got to the place I didn't really want to get out of the car.
"Come on." Josiah said
I sighed and got out
"Remember when we were kids and we'd come here all the time?" Josiah asked
I laughed and grabbed Jack's hand
"Remember when we got kicked out for having a food fight?" I laughed
Josiah smiled and followed behind my mom
We sat down and waited
"So (y/n), I was thinking tomorrow we could go shopping, you know have some mom and daughter time?" Mom said with a smile
"I won't go unless Jack goes." I say
"Okay then never mind we can have daughter, daughters boyfriend, and mom time." She said
"What the hell are you doing?" Josiah said
"What do you mean?" She asked
"You've been acting nice ever since they showed up." He said
