"Maybe I did."
I woke up somewhere I couldn't recognize repeating the last words I heard from Dallon. It looked like a parking garage that had been abandon for a while. My hands were tied behind me but my feet were freed. I looked over and saw a sharp piece of shattered glass. I leaned over on my chair until I fell and was able to grab the shard of glass. I cut the rope as much as I could until it was sawed in half. I managed to stand up and look around for a possible exit.
Of course. The fire escape.
I ran over to the door and tugged on the handle. Dallon must've locked it somehow. I ran back over to grab the piece of glass I had used to get out of the rope. I stuck it in the keyhole and eventually managed to get the door opened. I ran as fast as I could down the stairs. My legs ached, but that wasn't important right now. I just wanted to get out of here.
"Ryan..."
Hearing my name made me freeze. I looked up into the doorway. I didn't see him so I kept running until I got to the second floor. There I ran and hid. Dallon's voice got louder and I wanted to cry, but I couldn't. I kept quiet and hid in what once was an elevator.
"RYAN!"
He was gonna find me, I knew it. I didn't want give up, though. I knew I had a small chance to get out of here, but it was at least a chance. I peeked out of the elevator and saw Dallon walking around the second floor. I dragged myself back to the corner I was hiding in and took deep breaths, looking into the corner, trying to not think about anything that was happening.
"Hi Ryan."
