~Chapter 12~

I was walking in between Rencie and Muslim, following behind the others who were filling Hermes. I still can't believe we're in Mount Olympus. It just seems like a lot to take in, especially after the conversation with the gods.
"Wow, I did not expect that of the gods," I said seeing everyone nod. Hermes than turned to look at us as we were walking.
"They're not all bad," he said, we looked at him.
"Most of them wanted us dead first of all, especially the queen," Rencie stated but the Hermes shook his head.
"She gets mad at most things, especially with my father, but she's real nice when you get to know her. She's just very protective," he said. The only thing that worried me was the tournament Zeus had mentioned. If we don't succeed we might die.
"So, was Zeus serious about the if we don't succeed thing, we die?" Muslim asked but Hermes shrugged.
"If I know him he always stands by his word. But hey, I've seen you guys fight, those knights won't stand a chance" Hermes said, as if he was trying to cheer us up. We stared at him.
"We couldn't even fight them off when they were taking us here," Will said seeing Hermes scratch the back of his head.
"Honestly I don't know, I've seen those knights train every day," he admitted as he showed us down a path with a beautiful garden on each side. There were white lilies, red roses and tulips, Bergenias, bleeding hearts, so many different flowers lined up together.
"This place is beautiful," Eunice said, as we walked past the flowers. Hermes looked at her and smiled.
"Well for a proper greeting, my name is Hermes and let me be the first to actually welcome you to Mount Olympus," Hermes smiled as he gestured towards the flowers seeing the clouds from afar move aside and reveal the amazing palace itself. Everyone's mouths dropped as soon as we saw the palace seeing how big it was. Made of Marble and gold, with water falls coming down from some towers pegasus' flying around it.
"Oh my god," John said seeing 6 Pegsasus' fly over top of us.
"We're actually here right? I'm not just dreaming?" Paisley asked hearing Hermes chuckle.
"Come on we're almost there," Hermes said as we turned the path.

He eventually lead us past a few trees until we saw the barracks. Our eyes widened. We saw people sparing with each other, going through obstacles and using their powers against each other or just learning how to use them.
"Who are they?" I asked seeing Hermes look at us.
"Well today is the day were all the Demi Gods come to Olympus to train. They only come up here after every 10 years to meet their parents for a week and then go back home to compete," Hermes stated as he walked us past the training Demi Gods. I had to duck when an arrow flew by.
"Ok woah," I said hearing a few of them laugh. Then Eunice suddenly asked.
"Um, sorry to ask but do you know where Praise and Katherin are? We were kinda hoping we would see them," Eunice asked seeing Hermes stop and slowly turn towards us. He cleared his throat.
"Um, you'll see them when you train tomorrow," he said, hearing his voice sound a little shaken. I crossed my eyebrows.
"Where is Praise and Katherin? Why can't we see them now?" I asked hearing him sigh.
"We were told to keep you guys away from those two," he said, we all stopped.
"Why not? They haven't done anything wrong," Paisley said until Hermes gave us the look of doubt.
"Look you guys can train with them tomorrow with Athena and Artemis' watching, but we can't have you sharing the same room with them, its too risky especially at night," Hermes said, Eunice looked at him.
"What do you mean?" She asked seeing him shake his head.
"Look I have some errands to run, I need to show you to your bunks." Hermes said as he walked ahead, we chased after him.
"Hey, what did you mean by that?" Will asked seeing Hermes look down and sigh.
"I don't know if Zeus told you but demons dont act, natural here in Olympus," Hermes said as he gestured us towards the stairs to a small cabin. He unlocked the cabin door and opened it up for us, once we each walked in he gave us each a key.
"But we've known Praise and Katherin for a long time, they wouldn't go rogue just out of no where," Paisley mentioned but Hermes shrugged.
"Well here in Olympus, demons who even step foot here, no matter how well you know them, they begin to act...strange," Hermes said as he closed the door.
