~Chapter 14~

"What do mean we are more powerful than we think we are?" Eunice asked Athena only smiled.
"Unfortunately it's not the right time to say, but if you wish to start your training today, come and meet me outside on the obstacle course, I think it's a good start for you," she said until Will, Muslim and Jayden looked away.
"Yea we'll just stick around here," Will said seeing Muslim and Jayden run up the stairs and Will lay onto the couch. I rolled my eyes and looked at Athena.
"Ok," I said seeing her walk out and close the door. I looked at Eunice seeing her smile in excitement.
"I can't believe Athena is going to train us. The goddess of war and wisdom?" She smiled making me chuckle.
"I can't wait!" I screamed.

•Kirk•
Zeus had lead me, John and Rencie into the Palace itself, seeing the large doors open as soon as we walked in front of it. It was as if angels had sung as soon as they opened revealing A large fountain set in the middle of the entrance, doves had flew out as soon as we entered. My mouth dropped our seeing how big it was, and this was only the foyer. We followed Zeus passed a few hallways, hallways that seemed endless due to how big they were until he opened a set of doors into a large library.
"Hold on one second, you guys might not be able to hold the books yourselves," Zeus said until I saw him grow to a size of a giant. The ground almost shook until I stepped back as soon as he turned to look down at us, he hovered his hand over us on the ground and gold mist had started to fall from his fingertips, raining down on us until I noticed we began to grow into giants ourselves. From what we thought was huge at first soon began to look normal as soon as we grew. But what made me wonder how it worked so easily. I thought only gods were able to shrink and grow, I didn't think they would be able to do it to other beings.
"Ok woah," Rencie said seeing Zeus smile again and gesture us to follow him.
"How did you manage to do that?" I asked as we followed him into the archives of books.
"Well, it only works on descendants of the gods, you and your group have Olympian blood." He mentioned which got us to stop and look at each other, almost coughing to the fact that he just said that. Rencie almost choked up.
"Excuse me what?" Rencie asked hearing Zeus chuckle.
"Youre our ancestor?" Kirk asked seeing Zeus smile. Zeus then stopped and pulled out a large book. He then took it to a table and set it down.

•Will•
I was napping on the couch until i heard whispers start to fill my ears. I shut my eyes tighter and tried to toss them out of my head, but the whispers grew louder making Me grunt and shake my head. I sat up and opened my eyes. I crossed my eyebrows. What was that? I scratched the back of my head, and looked around the room. There was no one. I then heard a big thud upstairs, knowing it was either Jayden or Muslim.
"What are you doing?!" Jayden shouted upstairs making me groan and lay back down.
"I didn't do anything! You dropped it!" Muslim shouted back, I sat back up and got off the couch. I made my way towards the stairs and jogged up them, as soon as i made it up the stairs Muslim was jumping on a bed while Jayden was looking around in the chests.
"what are you guys doing?" I asked seeing Jayden look at me and stand up straight.
"Oh we were just looking around, There's some really cool potions in some of these, along with some medical supplies, some books too," Jayden mentioned making me groan.
"Would you guys keep it down though, I'm trying to take a nap before dinner," I said seeing them nod and go back to what they were doing, I turned to the stairs and jogged down them. I then walked towards the couch and laid back down. As soon as I shut my eyes for a few seconds, the whispering come back. I grunted and sat up. I looked towards the door then the windows.
"Hello?" I asked hearing nothing but the Muslim and Jayden's footsteps from upstairs. I crossed my eyebrows again and shook my head. What the hell is that? I scratched my ears and groaned.
"Will?" I heard Muslim from upstairs, I looked towards the stairs.
"Yea?" I asked hopefully he heard me from upstairs.
"Is there someone there with you?" He asked, I responded.
"No, I'm just talking to myself," I said and combed my hair back with my hands. Then all of the sudden, these weird visions came into my mind. I ended up grunting, feeling a sudden sting in my head. The stinging grew worse as soon as the visions started to flash some more in my head.

"You're our ancestor? Are you serious?" Rencie asked seeing Zeus hand him a book. Rencie then smiled and ran off to sit by a table. I smiled.
"You're fathers were very honorable men," Zeus pointed out which ended up catching mine and John's attention. I crossed my eyebrows.
"You knew our fathers?" I asked seeing Zeus smile.
"My dad is in the Shadow realm right now," John mentioned seeing Zeus nod.
"I know, I haven't seen him since Hades turned against us," He said, mentioning Hades almost started to fuse me up.
"Really?" John asked seeing Zeus point above us seeing the entire ceiling painted with Zeus army and Hades' army about to clash into each other in the middle. Something about their armies looked familiar. Some of them just had armor with swords, some of them had wings and all of them had different colors indicating what powers they had. My eyes widened realizing what those men and women were.
"You're army were the Shadow Knights?" I asked seeing Zeus nod and point somewhere near the center of the whole painting.
"There stood your fathers, as well as the knights that took you here," He said making me look at John. I then looked at Zeus.
"Our fathers were some of the generals of your army?" I asked seeing Zeus nod.
"We brought them to life, me, Poseidon and Hades, gave them our powers and trained them to become the strongest beings after us in the whole universe. Unfortunately Hades had a different plan with them. He wanted to use them for world domination, but those who didn't want to join his side, stayed with me and Poseidon. Over half of our knights turned to his side and the battle lasted for decades." he spoke. It was as if the painting was moving as he told the story. I looked at Zeus.
"What happened?" I asked seeing him shake his head.
"Hades drove away our knights to the point where they were stuck in hiding, most of his knights have turned to demons by now but, you're father was one of the first people to discover the Shadow realm, which was where all the knights hid for so many years," Zeus said, looking at John.
"My dad had never even told me this," John said until Zeus looed at the both of us.
"So both of our fathers were your generals?" I asked seeing him nod. I then thought about my father. I've always wondered what happened to him. I was only young when I saw him. If I remembered it correctly, I was all alone in the dark, until one night someone came to my foster home, giving me these powers. I've always wondered who the man was. But collecting those gems from before, I heard my father speak to me in my mind. I looked at Zeus. "Do you know what happened to my father?" I asked. Zeus looked at me carefully, and then sighed.
"He fought Hades himself and," He said but he paused, I nodded and looked down, knowing what he was about to say. He put his hand on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry, he was very noble, In fact he was the first general I put in charge." Zeus said maing me nod.
"He speaks to me sometimes and I've always thought he's just hiding somewhere. I think the only time I met him was the night he gave me these powers." I said seeing Zeus look at me.
"Gave you your powers?" he asked, I looked at him and crossed my eyebrows.
"Yeah, I was living in a foster home until one night he came down and gave me my powers, he told me he was my father and that I shouldn't be afraid. I was little when he gave me these powers." I said seeing him smile and look down. I looked at John seeing him shrug.
"He didn't give you your powers," Zeus said seeing John look at him and shake his head.
"My dad did the same thing, when I was born he gave me these powers as a gift." John said hearing Zeus correct us again.
"You were born with your powers. You are both pure Shadow Knights," He said, I stared at him in a bit of a shock, I knew John had the same reaction.
