Blind or not.......it's complicated

Boom ! like literally !

I had to tell R about Jake, as soon as class ended I texted her to meet in our usual place. There was a secret hallway in the college , I don't think many knew about it, it was beautiful but everyone said it was kind of abandoned. apparently something bad happened there like real bad, nobody knows what but it was brutally damaged and never repaired and stranger thing is there's direct way for forest sideways which no other part had. Me and R spend lots of time here, its peaceful and there's always jasmine plants around, don't know how they survive in brutal weather though. As I was walking through, I heard a loud BOOM and sound of cracking, next a loud growl leaving me jumpy and then something happened which I won't forget ever, not only because it was totally unreal but also rather fascinating. A large dark shiny brown fur ball jumped from only room sideways, landing directly on way to forest. it was hell of a long jump but my breath stopped only when fur ball's eyes met mine and I realised it was not a fur ball but a strong graceful wolf nearly my height with golden eyes staring at me.

I could not think of averting my gaze with his, they were hypnotising, too interesting, like I would miss something if I blinked and I did, because next thing I know I see a running shadow far in  forest. I stood there still unaware of anything but that brown wolf a seconds earlier. I didn't dare to imagine it as dream it was too real to be one.

A sigh broke my gaze to see Mr.Alex hitting his hand hard on table with head low and leave from other side. He didn't saw me but I think he saw that wolf pretty well since they were in same room!

R's footsteps echoed as she walked more like hopped happily towards me.

" hey, my evil cookie, what brings me here..what happened to you " R asked with furrowed eyebrows. I think I was not able to wipe out my expressionless expression fast enough.

" Will you believe something, if I tell you " I asked her unsure.

" I will believe anything you will tell me ! except that you saw a big brown wolf " she said sternly.

It's official, she's a psychic but only for me.

" and why so " I asked with accusing eyes.

" because my evil cookie, that's your only big fantasy " she finished confidently leaving me speechless.

Now how the hell am I supposed to explain my best friend that fantasy just came true, so I thought of another time to explain her when she had not just accused me of the opposite.

" BACK TO THE BLUE PLANET " R's voice boomed in my ear.

" ouch ! I know you hate it when I zone out but I am your best friend, you can't kill me remember that and about that text, well Jake is here, like in our college, he claims to be a transfer student " I finished. R had walked out of my class after just getting a sight of Mr. Alex, to her class, so she didn't knew.

" Claims to be ? " she asked with raised eyebrows.

" oh yeah ! claims to be, I am pretty sure his intentions are else "

" I believe you but can we think about it later, I am hungry and you know how my brain cells die when I am hungry " she frowned and I grabbed her hand laughing and dragging her to cafeteria.

Rest of the day passed as usual with no sight of Jake until we were driving back home.

But on the way, There was smoke emerging from two cars which had been in an accident, blocking our way. As the smoke cleared, the scene unfolding made me and R to rush over there. There were eight guys, four of whom we knew. There was Dan, Kyle, Alex and Jake on one side with four other guys on other. It looked like some kind of gang war and stuff but the only difference was this was far more intense than that. Jake and other guy on opposite side were practically nose to nose spitting words at each other that were far from decent along with other guys ready to pound at each other.

I ran towards Jake, blocking his way as I stood between two with my hands on his  chest and warning eyes on him( in my defence, it was totally on reflex ), which made his eyes to shift over me and his expression changed from pissed off to less pissed off which I was thankful for because the hate glare he was giving earlier would have definitely made me uncomfortable.

" Finally , someone to stop you and look she is a beauty. well done Jake " I turned to see other guy with grey eyes smirking and checking me out, to which I could not help but give my best death glare.

" let's not push our luck on this territory with audience. what you say guys " Dan said with gritted teeth glancing at me and R who was holding back Alex just like me.

" This isn't over yet " some guy on the other side said.

"We will make sure of that " Jake said still shooting fire.

Just as they left, it felt like air finally stopped buzzing danger.

" Uhh that Ass! he broke our car " Kyle said irritated kicking a tyre.

" But we have our angels, girls please give us lifts ! " kyle asked with puppy eyes.

Now let me tell you something, you can't say no when kyle asks with those eyes and I just realised that.

Sighing I began to walk towards car.

" sorry full " kyle smiled cutely and I scowled seeing they reached before me.

" Ashi " R hissed as I tried getting in passenger seat and she looked at Alex, silently daring me to sit in front.

In short I didn't had space for myself in my own car since R was driving with Alex at front and kyle with Dan at back.

" Come on, I will drop you on my bike " Jake said tiredly.

Now let me tell you one thing I was in no mood to take his ride but my ears perked up at keyword "Bike ", let's just say I have a thing for shiny sleek motorcycles and if it's black nothing more tempts better so I hopped without a protest which obviously shocked everyone except R who just smirked knowingly.

" whooo hooo faster " I have been constantly shouting and enjoying the whipped air on this extremely adorable piece of machinery since fifteen minutes.

"will you tone down, you are yelling in my ear " Jake yelled over sound of motorcycle.

" Whooooo " I let out a high pitched scream right in his ear and he responded by halting to stop.

He turned to stare at me with his infamous death glare.

"umm, sorry...but don't you think leaving me here which is basically no where would be rude." I said unsure and he started driving again.

I am a brave person but not plain stupid so I decided not to shower all my joy on him for the rest of the ride.

" I have been meant to ask you this from our earlier meeting, how do you know where I live because last time I checked, am sure I never told you " I asked with one hand on my hip standing outside door.

" Listen good because I am going to say this only once and if you didn't took my words seriously I will not be responsible for any consequences or my actions later. Stay.out.of.this. This shit is deep and I don't want to handle unnecessary troubles and you are going to be one " He said sternly and left without answering my question.

" I will try but what can I say, repulsion is a strong emotion and curiosity killed the cat " I said to myself.
