WHEN FANDOMS GO TOO FAR

1 - When Shipping Goes Too Far

I'm not gonna lie, I do ship characters/people together. But I know when something goes to far.
When someone asks you to stop shipping them and (person) together, you stop.
Yeah maybe your gonna read a few fanfics and secretly ship it still but your not harassing the people. Like- you not going to their Twitter and DM them saying, "Are you and (person) together? You better be together or I will SUE YOU."

Now I understand that was a bit overdramatic but that's how some individuals act.

I'll give you an example of a dead ship that has also been asked to stop being shipped. Mithross is something I used to ship, and kinda still do. But it's not like where I'm obsessing over it, I'm kinda like "Okay. It's pretty cute but whatever." And continue on with my day. I refuse to ship it like I used to do. I used to search online for fanart, look online with little cute moments, and write fanfics. Along with the reading of course.
By now we all know SkyMedia has went out of business, and not everyone is still in contact/friends with everyone.
It's obvious from the start that Max did not want it to be shipped in he first place, before he ever officially stated for people to stop.
Yeah yeah, I'm still gonna read a few fanfics and stuff about the ship, but that's it.
And I'm talking about stories where they put an actual book setting to it. Like- high school, college, and so on. Not just, "OMG, OMG, OMG, OKAY SO- LIKE- MAX AND ROSS ARE AT THE OFFICE ONE DAY AND THEY FALL AND KISS AND THE AUTHOR SAID "AWWW" THEN THEY WERE LIKE- "WHOS THAT" AND THEN IM LIKE- "I GOTTA RUN" THEN I REMOVE MYSELF FROM THW STORY. THESE TWO ARE SO CUTE! 😀💋🐾"

That's insane man. Like- I'm actually concerned if you do that kinda stuff. I read shipping fanfics for the story line, not to over obsess about two dudes who live together.

But by all means, do whatever makes you happy. If doing all the messed up stuff I just said makes you happy, go ahead. But please know when to stop.
