Loki

A small green gemstone.

I held the stone gently with my palm flat, just admiring its beauty. The light caught it, making it shimmer and I could vaguely see my reflection.

Who could this be? It is so beautiful. My first thought was Nat as she seemed like the person to admire its beauty, but it wouldn't have been something that she would have shown everyone. Maybe it was Thor, an Asgardian gem? I looked at Thor to gauge his reaction, when I noticed Loki smirking at me, behind Thor.

"Looks like you got Loki (Y/N), have fun!" Tony looked at me with worry in his eyes, "Good luck (Y/N)" he whispered as Loki started walking to the closet.

I quickly got up and followed Loki. As I stepped through the door, I heard Tony shut and lock it behind me.

"(Y/N), you don't have to be scared of me" Loki said from somewhere in the closet, my eyes trying to pinpoint the exact location of him but struggling due to the lack of light. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, when Loki conjured a small ball of light, allowing me to see him.

It relieved me to be able to see him, know exactly where he was, so he didn't do anything without me seeing him. He smiled gently at me, slowly walking closer, as the ball of light floated in the air.

"You can trust me" Loki whispered, his hand lightly tracing my cheek.

"If I can trust you, why is everyone else afraid of you?" I whisper, leaning slightly into his hand. I felt like I could trust him, but even Tony was slightly afraid of him.

"Because I did some bad things in the past. Some very bad things. But they don't understand that I had to do them. I completely regret doing them. I am not that person anymore. (Y/N), you can trust me". Loki slowly leant towards me, brushing his lips against mine.

I kiss him back softly at first, before he pulls me close to him. His hands slip to my waist, holding me closer, mine slipping around his neck. Just as things started getting heated, Tony opened the door and artificial light flooded the room.

"Wow, okay, umm. I wasn't expecting this" Tony mumbled, as Thor walked up behind him.

Thor clapped Loki on the back. "Brother! Well done in courting Lady (Y/N), you should be proud! Lady (Y/N) welcome to the family!" Thor cheered greatly, alerting everyone else to the fact we were caught kissing.

Loki and I both blushed, before Loki took my hand and led me out of the closet and out of the lounge area.
