"Hello?" Dave (luckily) almost instantly picked up his flat's intercom.
"Hi, It's me!" I was so glad that I had visited Dave at the right time. He honestly could have been anywhere, seeing as it was around the time that he does his house tours. Fortunately he was in is flat. After a fairly short pause that, not gonna lie, was quite awkward, Dave spoke again.
"Sorry, who is this?" Really? I always say that when i visit his flat! Of course, seeing as he basically had no idea who was at the other end of the phone, it just seemed appropriate to do my channel's slogan.
"Ooh, Garyc" that seemed to light the spark in Dave's head of who was at the other end of his intercom. That or he really needs to get his hearing checked out.
"Sorry Buddy, I'll buzz you in now." Typical Dave. Using the word 'Buddy.' Everytime he says it I want to burn the word. He knows it annoys me.
While i walked up the stairs to his top- floor flat, I started to overthink, which is never a good sign. So I stopped the train of thought and started to think about what videos to film with Dave. After all, it was always hard to think of new video ideas.
In the end, I settled onthe idea of for my channel we could do a similar thing to what I did with Rachel on my channel (FreakCalledRach) where we draw each other (not gonna lie, I do have an advantage as I draw my friends, including Dave, quite often). If I did do that I could make sure that in the comments our viewers vote for who's drawing (and model) was better. I could aeven create a leaderboard and post it onto the tumblaah for people to view. (The lederboard would run off the amount of votes ahead that person is). (So somebody who wins by 10 votes will be above somebody who has 3 more votes than their opponent) (however seeing as i have got the advantage it could just be opponent (all opponents as one) vs. Gary...) And for the record, yes, the Leaderboard will be surrounded with Multi- Coloured (rainbow) Giraffes,Obviously.
It would be great if on his channel i could do another Disney cover with him, seeing as we slayed that Aladin cover! Basically today I'm in a really Disney mood. (When am I not?) And, to top it all off, I'm wearing my Ursula shirt, and Ursula is clearly the best disney character.
After that random coversation in my head, I reached the top floor, where Dave's flat is.I reach out to knock on the door with one hand, just as the door is opened. Luckily I don't knock on Daves head (like they do on every cartoon, ever). I swear that sometimes he knows exactly what I'm about to do. (Not that its hard to tell when somebody will knock on a door...)
After he welcomes me into his flat, I'm drawn to the corner of his flat where all the cameras are set up.It's where he films Whiskey and Things, just because it was there, and as it was all set up, so I have a chance of being in Whiskey and Things.
If the stuff was set up,that gives me at least a chance to be on the show, so i could basically be the guest star. As if on cue, Dave points out that Nick will arrive at any minute!
I'm not too late to be whiskey and things guest star for episode 32! After around 5 minutes, there is a buzz on Dave's intercom. Dave hands me a shirt and lets me know its the merch that i ordered- and of course I have to wear it- it'sred!
Nick knocks on the door, and we all have a converation about whiskey and things. It's basically decided that, seeing as I was at the flat, it was just right if I was a guest on the show. (Great!)
I got changed into my new red shirt and quickly popped to the nearest shop that sold what I wanted. I got back to daves quite qickly after he buzzed me in and stuff, I sat down on his sofa.
Of course it was basically traditon for the guest to bring whiskey to the show, so I brought the Jack Daniels I had just bought.
We had finished the episode after about an hour. I don't actually know what time we finished, because Dave's clock in the corner of the room we're in doesnt actually work. It's permanently at quater past three. However, I have no idea why. Not gonna lie, I thought that Whiskey and Thing was was filmed and it was all in one short take, but I recon only about one fith of the footage will be used to make the ten minute episode.
