"The Daughter of Artemis" (Written at Age 12)

I ran and ran, panting heavily as the monster-snake thing chased after me. My name is Grace Artemis Taylor and I am 12 1/2 years old. My father had just disappeared and I have no idea who I am. All I know is that my dad kept on saying that I was forbidden and Artemis. 

My dad's name was Orion Taylor but he believed in Greek Mythology, so therefore, I did too. Not to the fact that Dad does but due to the books I love to read; Percy Jackson and The Olympians. 

I spun around and grabbed a clip out of my hair that my father had given to me.  I yelped in surprise as the thing turned into a silver and gold bow and arrow. 

"Ah! I am going insane!" I shouted in surprise but I held the arrow and shot the Python fell to the ground dead and I panted heavily. 

I started hypernating in panic. I was going to kill my dad whenever I see him again. I began to pass out but a strange boy appeared and I managed to look into his brown eyes before fainting.

I began to open my eyes but groaned as soon as sunlight appeared. Hesitantly, I opened them again and blinked. 

Next to me was a boy with blue eyes and sandy blond hair and a cheerful smile. 

"Hi! I'm James Anderson Son of Apollo!" He said cheekily. 

"I'm Grace. Grace Artemis Taylor." I said, sitting up and holding my head. My auburn hair fell to my waist and I groaned slightly, who took it out of its pony tail? 

"That's so cool! Did you know that you look a lot like Artemis? She has auburn hair but silver eyes and yours are green. Who's you're dad?" He said all of that without taking a breath and I chuckled slightly. 

"My Dad said something about Artemis and his name is Orion." I smiled and his face slackened slightly. 

"Err, Grace, how old are you?" He asked. 

"Oh I'm 12, why?" I said curiously. 

"Because well... there's a glowing silver bow and arrow above your head. You are a forbidden Child. You are the Daughter of Artemis." 

 note: There's still a possibility I'll write a fic off this drabble... 8)
