A/N: A list of characters that me and a possible few others like, but are hated by others.
Warning. Bellow this are the reasons to why I like them as pose to those who hate these characters.
10. Daffy Duck- daffy usually gained some hate over the years since he's usually been known for being kind of a dick, a con-artist or a loony weirdo. But I think that kinda what makes daffy who he is. While I don't like characters who think their better than everyone else, daffy is that type of character who is kind of an overconfident person, but is someone who wants to be recognized and respected like bugs. This is seen in Looney Tunes Back in Actions and The Looney Tunes Show. He's just a duck who wants to be somebody.
9. Ultron (MCU)- People seem to not like this version of ultron since he seemed to have the sort of same personality as tony stark in the film. I think that He was a rather decent and threatening villain of the film. He still had other characteristics besides that. He had motives. He saw humanity as a threat to world peace and the avengers and a bigger threat for trying to stop him from changing the problem via human extinction. I think he was pretty intimidating villain in that regard since he even managed to cause an entire city to get lifted up into the sky. So his ideas weren't anything low balled.
8. Infinite- Infinite was someone who got a lot of hype when the first trailer for sonic forces showing him off was shown. However, when the trailer for him dropped, people right away said they didn't like him and called him edgy. You mean kinda like shadow was? While infinite's story wasn't the best, it was still alright for me. He was a captain of a crew who lost everything. That being his crew and his pride when he fought shadow. So now he craved power, but he got too overconfident and it lead to his downfall. I think it was still kinda a cool rendition for him. whether or not if he'll ever appear in any other games and they might expand on his story a bit is left to speculation.
7. Lizzie (2018 Rampage Movie)- Lizzie sort of gained a sort of big portion of hate by a few people when she killed ralph in the film. And I can kinda get that, when you know what had happened to ralph in the film as he was a major victim. However, I think Lizzie is as much as a victim as Ralph and George if not more since she ate one of the 3 canisters of the mutagen and would get the most exposure to it. And to make it worse, like ralph, she didn't get the cure to the uncontrollable aggression she had. Basically the movie screwed her and ralph over in favor of george. I know it's said that she laid eggs and more of her could appear in a sequel. But still.
6. Megatronus Prime/The Fallen (Bayformers)- The fallen definitely gets a lot of flack in the movie series of transformers for being called things like a boring or predictable villain. I blame that more on Michael Bay for not actually bothering to try in this movie series. Anyway, the fallen does actually have a lot more going for him before the second film. Whether or not you consider the comics canon or not. (I do, they don't affect the lore of the films and they pretty much expand the stories of characters who were wasted in the films). Stuff like the Tales of the Fallen and the Foundation comics really show how strong he was, how he became the first decepticon and how he influenced megatron to try and control cybertron. Much like other characters in the films, he was someone who's story got wasted because Michael bay and gets unfair hate. If anyone wants to know about his origin, I'd recommend this video here.
(Most of you probably already saw it on one of the previous pages, so you don't really need to watch it again if you've already seen it).
5. Raynare- to be fair, to Highschool DXD series kinda gets a lot of hate for some reason. But Raynare seems to get most of it. I don't seem all that much on why. She was a pretty good villain of the first arc. She was what was able to cause Issei to awaken his gear and defeat her. Hell, her death is still on his mind and getting to him to this day. So I'd say she definitely left a mark in the series when you stop to think about. And while yes, I don't find her acts to what she did to asia as something justifiable, but it was what pushed Issei to get to his point. Sometimes a push needs to happen.
4. Spinosaurus (JP3)- Yeah, this guy really got a lot of hate when he killed a T-rex in the 3rd film and a lot of people hated him for it. I should know, I use to be one of them. However, I was one of those people who grew to appreciate the spinosaurus for what it was. So it killed the rex, so what? The rex was a sub adult anyway and there's been recent information hinting that this specific Spinosaurus was a Super Hybrid rather than an actual creature. It was a technological achievement for Stan Winston studios. It was more advanced and articulated than any of their large animatroics from before. Hell, at one point during shooting the spinosaurus animatronic even managed to decapitate the t-rex animatronic. Yes, that was how powerful it was. While yes, there's news that says that sorna currently isn't in the best shape as either. (Basically the island is suffering the same fate as nublar).
3. Cinder Fall- Cinder gets flack for being a villain with no backstory that wasn't provided to us (yet) and people think she was an unimpressive villain. I haft to disagree on that. I think she left a very well established mark on the series. Particularly, volume 3 where she caused the fall of beacon and caused the death of pyrrha, which would influence jaune to try and train harder to the state he was currently in. While her fate is sort of speculative, I think she may possibly return one last time and maybe further parts of her backstory and full motives will be brought up.
2. Zilla- Zilla got ALL the hate when he film was released, even to the point that others said it took the God out of the name. And showing him off in the Final Wars film, just to kill him in a matter of seconds. I mean yeah, he's not the best example of a version of godzilla. But I really don't think he's the worse monster in the franchise. He's got some impressive speed and burrowing skills. While yes, his son, Zilla Jr gets credit for the things he does, I still think he dad deserves the same. Thankfully, things like The Rulers of Earth comics showed Zilla being a very impressive creature in battle. As seen when he had a much longer and better fight with godzilla than in final wars and using his abilities rather than just charging right in. And the final issue, he was mauling trilopods like a bad ass. A lot of fans actual grew to respect zilla for what he was given in the comics and I really do hope that he gets more of that in later material.
1. Kale and Caulifla- Yep. it was a matter of time before I've brought up these two. If anyone who's read any of my journals would know I've brought up that I think the hate for these two is just ridiculous. And to be honest, i still think it is. But, they're in a series that has a fanbase that nowadays is full of a lot of people who can't seem to be satisfied with what the series tries to do nowadays. So yeah. I really can't see these two being the worst characters in the series as there are characters who are a lot worse in that regard. But, the haters of current dragon ball probably wouldn't care and still think otherwise and that's fine. Let them think their own way. It's not changing anything. Now about the characters, I thought the relationship between the two was a pretty solid one it was a nice one that I've enjoyed seeing during the time of the tournament of power arc. I actually hope we get further backstory on the universe 6 saiyans to we can get more knowledge on not just them, but their culture and further info on their biology as well. These two were a good pair and I hope to see them again with cabba in any further series.
(And for any haters of the two, call the characters by their ACTUAL names and not something stupid like brolina. If you're gonna mention the character, mention them RIGHT. Not trying to sound like a dick. But I just think that's something to be brought up).
That's all I need to say about what I think about these characters. I really don't think any of them deserve the amount of hate they get. And hopefully there will be people who appreciate these characters for who or what they are.
