Turning pages we write our future
Forgetting the past
What we were is unknown history
All that matters is who we are
Living in the present like on other day while writing the paragraphs that sketch out our future
Every cursive line twirling around our broken hearts and glistening eyes
At first I thought that we'd turn our pages together
Yet it seems we have written different chapters
Maybe one day our chapters will meet in the middle and we'll write that page together
We live our own lives, and each day we'll turn a page and write,
As if it is the last one we'll cover in ink
