I'm baaaaaaaack! Yup. You can throw pineapples at me, but I am deeply reflecting of my actions! I was having a mental block (I'm no great author so I'll be using 'mental'), but I am back from the dead! So master, read on.

Sumiko Hayashi's P.O.V.
I quickly speed dialed my brother's number. He finally picked up after 6 rings.
"Where are you? I need a favor! Teach me basketball, please!" I ranted in rapid fire
"W-wait? What?" he asked, obviously surprised.
"Oh for the love of God! I said teach me the darned game basketball!" I repeated in a much slower pace
"Jesus, Allah, Buddha, Zeus and to all gods who may be out there, is this the end of the world? My sister, using teach and basketball in a single sentence, is this the sign of the Earth's oblivion?" excuse my brother and his stupidity.
"You gonna teach me or what?!" I asked, letting the inner sass take over
"Of course. Duh?" he countered, "I'll be there in exactly 15 minutes. Wait there, alright? And if this is a freaking prank, I'm gonna sell ALL of your consoles to different countries, and theeeen, I'll block your credit card. Got it?!"
"Hai, hai. Whatever."
-
As expected, he arrived at exactly 15 minutes. He was catching his breath.
I chuckled at that and brought out my “Basketball for Beginners “ book and started scanning.
“Explain.”
“What?” I asked, suddenly taken aback by my brother’s seriousness.
“Why? Why do you want to learn basuke? You can’t even stand the game before, and now, you’re asking me to help you learn the sport? Why?” he trailed. Whoa. Deep.
“I don’t know? Maybe I just really want to move on from the pain it had given me before. I want father to be proud of me too, you know.” I smiled and stared into nothingness, “And also because I challenged Aomine? Ehehe?” I laughed awkwardly
“What?!” he exclaimed. He whispered some profanities but eventually cooled down.
“Well whatever, now, let me test your ball handling. Dribble the ball from this side to that,” he said while pointing from the side where we are standing and to the opposite, “I’ll be doing some steals too.”
I took the ball from the rack and started dribbling. He tried blocking my way and did some steals and actually succeeded.
“Again! From the start!” he commanded
I pouted, “What?! Atleast go easy on me!” I whined
“No, I shouldn’t. Generation of Miracles has monstrous defense and offense, and even if I’m the awesomest pillar of defense in our team, I’m not even half their abilities. And you, a beginner, noob and a stupid idiot, challenged them, no less their ace, you must be freaking stupid.” he lectured
Whoa! My brother? The super egoistical, stuffed with confidence, full of himself, and narcissistic brother, admitting his flaws in his abilities? This is definitely going in my diary! Except the me being the idiot part.
We did it again, with me successfully passing through my brother.
“I see. You still haven’t lost your ‘one mistake is enough’ habit.” What?
“Huh? I have what habit?” I asked, bewildered
“You see, whenever you commit something wrong, whether in academics, sports or in everything else, you unconsciously record that in your mind and actually correct them and never do it again.” he explained.
I gave him an “Oooooh…” and series of nodding
“That’s genius in some kind of way.” he added
I gaped at him. This is certainly a rare day. My brother admitting his flaw and complimenting me, in one day! I mean, yes, he is protective of me, but he never, ever complimented me. Not really, but he just do that rarely. Should I be worried?
He gave me the ‘wtf’ look, and I recomposed myself.
“One-on-one? Loser massages the back and the whole leg upto the foot of the winner.” he suggested
“Deal.”
(An hour later~)
"Ha! Just because you're the main character of this story, doesn't mean you would win everytime!" He beamed proudly as he did his victory dance
"Yeah, yeah. But you gotta admit that I was good for a first timer."
"Hmmmmm. Nope!" That idiot. "And don't forget my foot massaaaaage~"
Oh God.

That sums it up. I'm sorry for being gone for so long. It's really hard writing a love story when you're heartbroken. Believe me. I'm bitter and all so I'm having precautions. So please bear with me >.<
