Sumiko Hayashi's POV

Hey! Kissing isn't the only way to shut me up! =/////= And to think that he kissed me infront of everyone. Well, I guess that's his way of showing his possessiveness?

"Hey Sumiko, let's play basketball." Aomine said, carrying the ball on his shoulder.

"No." I said flatly

"Hmm? Why? Afraid of losing?" he asked with a smug tone.

"No. I simply don't like my past with it!" I shouted.

"Your past with it?" he asked quizically

"You know a basketball player named Shiori Saizou?" I asked them

"Yeah. Shiori-san created history in Japanese basketball. He was only a generation younger than Coach's father." Kuroko supplied "I read in an article that he died for pushing himself on his last game on year 2001 because of an unknown lung disease."

"He was my father." I blurted out.

"What?!" They exclaimed.

"But your family name's are different!" Kise said

"My brother and I took mum's family name when we turned 5." I explained, "So you can't blame me if I despise the sport. It was the reason for my own father's death!" I added, disgust.

Everyone went silent.

"If he weren't so obsessed with this sport, he could've been here with us!" I felt my eyes burn as tears threatened to spill. "If he hadn't love that sport so much, he could've been here, giving me advices, blabbering about how he would kill the person that would hurt us. Tch! And now you ask me why I hate the sport? Now you have your answers!"

"But isn't that just cowardice Sumi-chin? I mean, I'm sure your father dedicated all his hardwork to you and your family. If it were me, I'd be really be proud of my father and I'll play basketball, because neglecting basketball would be like disrespecting him." Murasakibara said.

"Woah. Murasakibara, that's so deep." Aomine said while gaping at him.

I tilted my head to the side. "I haven't thought of that at all."

"Anyway! I'm taking up the one-on-one challenge! A real woman never backs down!" I added, regaining my composure

"Only you would say that 'no dayo."

I saw Murasakibara smile as I ran off to find my brother.

Time to learn basketball!
